, so if like me you mainly want to see just how well Marisa Abela is as Amy Winehouse, then this movie is a must which by the way Marisa Abela is just beyond mindblowing phenomenal, I mean shove an Oscar into her hand for this. Now I haven't seen the previous Amy Winehouse documentary & the only Amy Winehouse story I knew before this movie was what I read in the tabloid newspapers, so how accurate are the version of events in the movie.......? This movie (just like the Whitney Houston bio movie from last year) is very biased towards Amy Winehouse giving us the best version of her leaving out much publicised not so flattering details like Amy Winehouse being booed off stage refusing to sing while the band just went on instrumental while she just stood there on stage, I just felt this movie should've gone there.I think it's fair to say Marisa Abela performance as Amy Winehouse*is* this movie & definitely a great night out at the flicks.
