    Another fair and comprehensive review Pat. Sorry to hear about the gouging from HAL for things such as the bottled water. Also very disappointed with your treatment when trying to cancel your wife’s spa appointment and the excursion as you gave at least 24 hours notice.

      It was crazy that they did not want to cancel with sufficient notice. He wanted her to get a doctor note and the visit to the doctor would be $100! They talk about being sanatary yet they did not care if someone with a cold could infect their staff or other guests....crazy. They finally saw the light. Thanks for watching!

    We believe that HAL offers a superior product to most mainstream cruise companies, such as Norwegian, Royal, Princess, etc. Obviously, they aren't as upscale as Seabourn, Viking, Azamara, etc. We find the food is better and the staff (service) much better. Your comments about the ship itself are spot-on.
    As far as the drink package is concerned, I agree you are limited by the $11 limit, it should be higher. On the other hand, the 15-drink limit shouldn't be an issue. Surely I should not consume fifteen alcoholic drinks every day. So having specialty coffees or bottled water count against that limit is fine.

    I don't care for alcoholic drinks... therefore, these 15 drinks at day is more than enough for me. Anyways, who drinks 15 drinks at day anyways ???? 5 bottles of water, plus 2 decaffeinated coffees, plus 2 smoothies and 1 tea at day is more than enough.... I wonder if the internet is good to send pictures through WhatsApp .....

      I did not try sending anything through WhatsApp but could not view RUclips or send photos through e-mail. You have to pay for an upgrade for that.

    Wow, all the points you did not like on this ship is due to extra fee. Enjoy your holiday insteat of being mad for these few extra costs.

      I think you might want to go back and rewatch the video because apparently you missed the points I made at the end. First of all, I am not mad, far from it. I am merely pointing out the likes vs the dislikes. And I do sum up the dislikes at the end, such as poor entertainment, not being able to serve myself at the buffet, the staff giving us a hard time when I tried to cancel the shore excursion 48 hours in advance (wife had a cold), no grand atrium, etc. As I said at the end, these are my personal preference and might not bother others. Yes, I did discuss extra costs like having to upgrade wi-fi and the drink package - something people might want to know about. Bottom line is they have room for improvement like other lines and by the way, I did enjoy my holiday. Thanks for watching.
