You are an excellent speaker. You are very articulate and seem very relaxed in front of the camera. I’m a new subscriber and I’m really enjoying your videos. Keep at it and your audience will grow! Thank you for sharing your travel and great tips with us. You are so interesting and detailed about what’s available on Holland.
Hi Shirley, My wife and I love your videos. We are exploring Holland for an upcoming cruise and are thankful for your cruise information. This "Dining" video is wonderful! Please continue sharing your adventures! Thank you!
Enjoyed your review and subscribed. I’ve been on 6 HA cruises and going again at the end of the year. The food is absolutely amazing! We always enjoy 1 night at the Pinnacle Grill Restaurant and 1 night at the Tamarind Restaurant. The later being my personal favorite. But during the week we manage to hit every single food venue included in the price of our cruise. It’s a wonderful cruiseline all around. Cheers!
We have a cruise booked on the Noordam in a few months. I look forward to the experience on the smaller ship. We definitely plan to try some specialty restaurants on that sailing.
Did a 7-day Alaska itinerary on the Koningsdam several months ago. My opinion on their MDR is A+. Didn’t have one single meal that I didn’t enjoy thoroughly. Compared to other cruise lines I’ve sailed with, HAL seems to do the best in terms of MDR food.
Hello Miss Shirley, I really enjoy and appreciate your well done and interesting postings. It is a fun way to research as we look forward to our upcoming vacation on the Nieuw Statendam. Excellent content and presentation, and your humor is a joy. Thank you.
My favorite breakfast at Lido is the design your own omelette. At lunch the design your own salad bowl that they fix for you. I try different oils and vinegars to put in it myself and I grab a protein elsewhere in Lido like chicken, shrimp or tuna to put on it
Very well done video. Club Orange does not work for me as a four star mariner, as I have most of these perks. You however, explained the program quite well.
I hate to hear that. We don't eat in the Lido much, but when we do, I want my hot food hot. We have a cruise scheduled on the Noordam, so I will definitely check that out and report in a video when we are back
I saw gluten free items in the buffet. And I remember seeing either almond milk or oat milk by the coffee station. The best thing to do is make sure to notify the cruise line in advance, or have your travel agent notify them if you have special dietary restrictions so they can be prepared for you.
@@lisajaworski509 There is NOTHING complimentary on the ships. Everything is paid for by the passengers. The two words mean completely different things therefore not semantics. Saying dining is complimentary is the same as saying everything you don't pay for on the ship is free eg, the cabin is complimentary, or the drinks are complimentary. If you pay extra for anything it's just not included in the fare you pay.
Thank you for sharing!!🛳🌊😊
You're welcome! 😊
Great review, thank you

Brilliant video! Great content and you are amazing at presenting it!
Thanks a much! What a kind comment!
One day I’m going to go on a cruise and this cruise line is top of my list
It's a really good option!

You can order extra appetizers and entrees to share with your travel companions in the main dining room
That’s a great way to try multiple items without wasting when you can share with your table
I just cruised the Noordam and more often than not the Lido food was cold.
I hate to hear that. We don't eat in the Lido much, but when we do, I want my hot food hot. We have a cruise scheduled on the Noordam, so I will definitely check that out and report in a video when we are back
I have ordered their room service breakfast the night before disembarkation day. So convenient to not have to go to the Lido.
Great videos. Are there gluten and dairy free options in all the complimentary food dining options?

Dining isn't complimentary It's included in the fare
You have a valid point😊 Perhaps a better word choice would have been “included.”
Semantics- no need to correct her.
