That's a cute little palette. 😂 I received a w/c sketch book today and a drawing sketch book, a mixing palette along with some design pads because I don't have anywhere near enough of those. 🙄 Your lil palette made a gorgeous colour 'wheel' and I totally get how you miss your old home sometimes, what a beautiful place your friends have. Your painting of the house is lovely, well done. Pretty birdsong around you there too. Enjoy your time away. Miss you. ❤ xxx

We drove through Ohio once, but I don't remember much of it, sorry! I was born in Scotland, lived the rest of the time in various places around England. Now in Cornwall, which feels like its own little country!

I don't remember too much of Scotland from when I lived there, but we took a gorgeous road trip with our kids, and Cornwall, I can't express just how much I LOVE living here!!

Lovely little travel vlog!! Enjoyed seeing the additions to your sketching kit; it’s so nice when you have room to take extras with you! Glad to see you have a painting companion while away… I wish I had someone who had explained colour theory to me when I first started painting years ago (in acrylics). It would have prevented many muddy mixes along the way 😂.
Great video - I am addicted to looking at other painters' sketching set-ups! How did you find the mini palette (not the nomadic one) - I have one but am wondering if it's going to be hard to get a big brush in those tiny wells...
I've just used it for a couple of paintings, along with the size 10 Escoda Ultimo, and it's actually been fine - the size hasn't really bothered me. It might do if you're trying to pick up a lot more pigment for a big wash or something - I was just using it for splodges!
I got them from Temu. If you Google Molle Pouch, or Molle attachments, you'll find loads of compatible units sold in lots of places - they are Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment, used by military etc.
