Very nice. Can’t beat a Spitfire in the air, the sound and the look, just incredible.
Very pleased to see Caldwells paint scheme remembered, and also that the camo colors are 100% correct for the Darwin region.
WW2 my late Father flew B17. He always said the Best sounding plane was the Spitfire. He said by sound alone you could tell the difference from P51s and other planes.
In the colours of Clive Caldwell's Spit. He was our top Scorer in WW2. Died in 1994

i think so this was the one that went to the UK

The Vickers Supermarine Spitfire, designed by Supermarine Aviation Works (Vickers) Ltd initially on a private venture basis
ie; Vickers owned the Supermarine company.
