I got one of these after watching your review and absolutely love it. It is much bigger and heavier than expected, but so easy to ride. I keep it restricted of course :)
Thanks mate, I had to say yes, when they contacted, be silly not to. It won't replace any fishing vids, but if I get the opportunity to do another then I probably will, why not aye 😂👍👍
I got one of these arriving tomorrow super exited i was using the engwe t14 you forgot to tell us how much battery that took out of you for them miles mate , and if it comes with a horn
Awesome mate, I probably forgot lots of things, I'm not the best reviewer😂😂, it does have a horn, and that 25 mike's I did, used 2 bars on one battery and 3 on the second. So give or take, one while battery👍😎
I was looking at one of those the other day for heading up to the out of reach hill lochs, but I bought a Civi Cheetah instead. It's huge, impractical and stupidly heavy, but great fun. Instead of solving a problem, I may have created two new ones.
Lol, thanks mate, they are a lot of fun, obviously I know this one is a bit out there with looks, but I think if you have the storage space, it's pretty practical 👍👍
Been seriously looking in to 1 of these as I think my car is about to fail its MOT probably for the final time but what has started to get me a little is the prices , especially when they seem to be giving them to every youtube channel around at the moment , does make we wonder what they're profit margins are , personal rant over dont let that take anything away from the quality of your review just wish I could afford 1 ( so yea maybe jealously as well haha ) keep it up fella
Lol, they are great fun mate, totally my first experience with one. I must admit, I was surprised they contacted, and didn't believe it until it actually turned up. It does look like they are really pushing to get these bikes into the market, and presumably preempting the change in the laws over here regarding restrictions. I watched. A few reviews on them, and in fairness, they seem very competitive in price👍👍
I think it’s safe to say you enjoyed that Dillon 😂😂. Are you sponsored by the Isle of Wight tourist board now 😂 😂, because it was a great advertisement for the island. Cracking piece of kit 👌🎣🐟
Thanks mate, they did move slightly when I took it off road, obviously didn't tighten it up enough. Just as well it wasn't dark and they weren't on aye😉👍
Be careful Dylan, coming off of that bike at 20-30mph with only shorts and a t shirt on you’ll end up with a lot less skin than before you went on it, stay safe mate
Thanks mate, I will defo be taking it carefully. I did think about the safety aspect before hand, having watched people riding in spider sand no helmet etc. I also figured you are going any quicker than a regular push bike, so it is a tough one. I appreciate your thoughts mate, thank you👍👍😎
In the bike world it's called road rash ....that's why you allways wear gloves as you can't fix anything if your hands are bleeding ( they are the first thing in contact in a crash )
@@cedhome7945 I remember it well from my days of skating, and biking to be honest. That's some really good advice there. You very rarely see anyone wearing gloves. I may well just invest in a pair. Thanks mate👍👍
With the pedal assist it is pretty pokey, legal limit is 15.5mph I believe, but obviously down hill my weight and the bike takes over. There is a single battery option at around 1100, and this one is 1300, but there is a voucher in the description for a discount 😉👍👍
Nice bike. But did you look into the legalities of riding it on the main roads and public paths. Last thing I want to see is you getting done by the old bill. 😮
Thanks mate, yes bud, it's all good, it comes limited to 15.5mph, after that the pedal assist shuts off, so fully legal on road, if you do have access to private land, then it can be unlocked, but I wanted to show people what it can do, and do an honest review. It's so quick down hill, but that's literally coasting. I believe the laws are in the process of changing, so it will be interesting to see what happens. Thanks again mate👍😎😎
Dylan , I fish the Euros, and they were banned from going down to Spurn point. They would have been ideal for anglers to carry their kit. What is the weight limit on them ?
@@FrugalOutdoorsbit more to it than that though, if the motor is higher than 250w or it has a throttle that goes above something like 4.5mph (walking assist) then it doesn’t comply with the regs, I think this thing has a 750w motor and a throttle, if that’s the case and you get stopped, you could get the bike seized, £300 fine and 6 points for no insurance.
@@adamran7533 appreciate your advice. The throttle does come locked and will only do 6kmh for push assist, but can be unlocked, but it is advised to only use it like that on private property. Hence why I said I wouldn't show how to unlock it. Indeed a 750w motor is not legal, however these rules are in the process of getting updated. I'm not really sure why the size motor makes a difference though if they are limited to 15.5mph. Do you have any thoughts on this. Many thanks for your input👍👍
@@FrugalOutdoors yeah my thoughts are that having a limit on how fast the bike can attain its top speed is bizarre, we don’t do this with cars. E-bike are particularly useful to the overweight, like myself, who were it not for e-bikes wouldn’t bike at all, it it’s us especially who the current 250w limit impacts, I saw in feb they were thinking of changing it to 500w, hope this happens soon bit realistically look how long e-scooter legislation is taking, like 4 years now. If I were you I’d buy an eBay 250w sticker to put on the motor as the police sometimes look on the motor to see if it says it’s over 250w.
Love ya channel mate but....... Apart from sea fishing,e biking is my other past time... Just a heads up mate.....if you ride that on a public road or track over 15.7 mph assisted you are technically breaking the law and it should be taxed , insured and mot,d It'll get confiscated and crushed and you'll have points on your license, have a read up on ebike laws in UK,sorry to put a damper on things mate, just giving you a heads up!!
Thanks mate, it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the advice buddy, I did look it up. It comes fully limited to 25kmh, it can be unlocked, which I did, and then only used it like that near the needles which is national trust property😉. It's difficult because where it's quite heavy, it picks up speed down hill so fast, and I can't keep up with the pedals 😂😂
Hi Dylan ... You failed to tell us if the video was sponsored by the bicycle manufacturer, or the Isle of Wight tourism board, or both ... Are you allowed to keep the bike after reviewing it? ... I know a few creators on here have ...So you know if you have arrived ... You really showed the inner child in you, in this video ... And something different from your stable ...😊🛵
Just the bike company I'm afraid John😂, I don't know about made it though mate😉 it was nice to have a go on one for sure. Glad you enjoyed the ride around 👍👍

Great fun isn't it, and I don't blame you for keeping it locked, far too much fun otherwise 😉😎
that was a nice change up mate, thanks for the tour around, it was looking at its finest , appreciated as always 👍🏼👍🏼🚴

Great little review Dylan, bike looks cool, and the views were amazing...thanks 👍🤙
Thanks bud, glad you enjoyed it👍👍
Nice one Dylan, you nailed it mate… & giving it some serious beans there! Well done 👊🏻😊👍👍
Cheers buddy, totally new thing for me to do, and I really wanted to give a good go. I forgot to say so much, but hey ho😂😂
Great review Dylan, what a beautiful island you live on.
Thank you Richard, and appreciate that. It's a just a little extra thing, so don't worry, I won't be bombarding the channel with this type of thing👍👍

Thanks mate, but of fun😂
now all you need is a little trailer for your fishing gear... sorted! Great review.
Thanks mate, as it happens, I have seen some online😉👍

@@FrugalOutdoors No, but I'm still gonna try.
😂😂😂 looks a beast and looks a lot of fun .
I had a blast mate, never ridden an ebike before, so complete new experience 😎

Well that was different 😂 nice one Dylan bike looks nice glad there was no Lycra 😂 can you fit a rod to the bike 🤪
I'm hoping I can mate, might make hopping around to different venues a bit more fun😂
Wow, that looks a real beast, Dylan. Next modification to add rod carriers?
A lot of fun mate, and I think they have a cage you can put on the back, so maybe travelling light could be an option 😂
Brilliant
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed 👍👍
Lovely Wish I had the money.
It was good fun Sharon, and looking around there seems to be some cheaper ones on the market, just with not so many features 👍
Thought I’d tuned in to the Tour de France 😳
