silver and gold are amazing investments although yeah I can agree lots of these higher up jewellers selling flooded out diamond pieces are def robbing people but that’s the jewelry game. Those little vvs 1-2 mm stones are worth a few dollars. Def not anywhere near the prices jewellers be asking. You can get 100 1-2mm vvs stones for like 80$ so imagine buying them in bulk like jewellers do. Big diamonds are rare so yes they are actually valuable. plain Jane gold and silver is a great buy. There’s actual value there, it’s gods money.
Pure gold and silver are investments. A chain gets no real resale value and natural diamonds are worthless.

Well made, simple jewelry can look indistinguishable from the real thing from a realistic distance. Sure you'll never fool the loupe but that's not the point.
