Pretty sure in Cave of Lie (1) in MMV you can duck jump as big Mario to enter a 1 tile gap as you have a couple of pixels to actually move left to right, it's much "easier" to duck and slide into the gap whilst in a 1x1 situation as big Mario Unlike in SMM2 you cannot do it... without a very precise duck twirl
Not to mention the stuff unique to this game like invisible walls and hidden pits, changing the material of the ground without changing the look of it, placing on/offs behind other blocks... Maybe I'm just a purist or something but I feel like it's less fun when it turns more into the Cat Mario style of troll where there aren't nearly as many rules XD

I'm definitely excited for the *potential* of the troll levels they can pull off with this game, just hope it doesn't rely too much on things like 'the floor here is suddenly not floor, guess you're dead now' cuz that feels on the level of kaizo blocks over bottomless pit jumps and the like.
Yoshi's Cookie on NES actually came out in 1992 whereas SMW was 1991 (1990 JP). Gotta remember the NES kept having new games a few years into the 16-bit era.

the thing is that it will be extremely difficult to release this game without the big N taking it down almost immediatly through copyright claims galore... also, don't even think on making it paid because that is straight illegal due to copyright infringements, the only way this game may be released is as freeware.

They are worse than Mario Maker Troll Levels because they can kill you when you reach a goal in Mario Maker 1 and 2 when you beat the level you beat the level but now people can kill you even when you reach the end. That's so stupid.

Being able to restart from the checkpoints makes softlocks a lot more tolerable & for troll levels much better
But then anti-softlocks won't be nearly as funny.

I love how they were able to recreate NSMBDS in Multiverse, its very impressive given how its the most realistic game style in the entire game

Super Paper Mario is essentially tied with TTYD for my favorite PM game, and is one of my favorite games overall.

Loved the Super Paper Mario 1-1 recreation! Loads of memories came back, like the slavery chapter and the Fort Francis bit.
