Thanks. The plan was a quick setup and unboxing and following up with a more “how does it function” video. We’ll be on the road for a few months shortly and will get that update posted soon.
Ditto. You gave me clear directions/demonstration of the setup and I really appreciate it! I actually found this type of video kind of difficult to find. Thanks!
@@katwoman6523 glad it worked for you. We try to be complete and simple. The feedback is appreciated because sometimes we don’t think we got there! Thanks for watching.
After this first set up we have gotten much better at recognizing what will work and what won’t. It certainly helps when you can get a clear view of the sky to the north and putting it in a tripod and pole 8’ in the air helped too. Thanks for the comment.
Does it have to be looking North? Cause North for me has a lot of obstruction. They should let you set it where you have good visibilidad. If not ill have to get a refund
@@toledojeeper2932 Didn’t want to leave you hanging too long. We have been only using starlink for the past few days while on the road. We can both work and stream at the same time. Here in Colorado, we are seeing speeds north of 200mbs. It’s nothing like our 1Gbs connection at home, but haven’t had any issues yet!
Fellow Cajun here! Just bought Starlink gen 3 yesterday and setting it up today. Wanted to see a quick guide on setup and you delivered. Thanks!

What breed is that beautiful dog?
I had to go look, we have 3 dogs! The one in this video is our 14 YO English Springer Spaniel.
The sky is supposed to be photographed from the same location as the desh There should be no obstacles

It does have to look to the north sky, but it is also very vertical. If you download the app, you can do an obstruction check before you set it up!
@@CajunMile thanks but i think ill have to send it back cause North is to obstructed only east and South is clear
Thanks for showing us your "bunch of problems". Isn't a instructional video about working though problems?
I thought we had talked through a few. We’ve been using it for a few months setting it up every week or so. What questions can I answer?
Deeply disappointed that the cable isn’t blue.
It isn’t that fast!
Y’all made that look so easy!!!
@discoverrescue that’s the power of editing. We had 20 minutes of some annoyances. Mostly account setup.
Have you tried to stream tv with it yet ?
