Playing dumb is like 75% of the time always the best strategy, who cares if they think you're dumb. Forget the pride, theres a chance they're actually dumb and theres very little risk and you get to kill some time
As a programmer, I can assure you that this is why we put in "well that would never happen" limits like that $2500 limit u mentioned. Safeguards are important! Btw that story is wild. We had an insane number of points show up in our account once but we pulled the car and put it back in and it was corrected.

It's like the dealer errors on the tables you give me the free drinks to get dunk and I'm not on your payroll to check for errors when they over paided me. And what if I was playing and did not keep track of how much free play I used or had just to see an hour later that I used say 2-5K of it? say at maybe $4 an spin?

Once got $63,000 in Free Resort Credit at one of my local casinos. Figured they would correct it before I could buy 100 Cases of Don Julio 1942. Next day, checked the kiosk... back to the normal number. It gave me a chance to dream big for a minute. Steak dinners, all day spa pampering. All of which I did not get LOL
I would use up that free play to the max until 0 if they let me. It would be a fun ride.

Errors like that will be found, eventually. I would not have touched a penny of it. Theft of the establishment could lead to being banned from all casinos. My husband is in IT for casinos. I am going to ask him how the other side would have viewed it.

Always opt for C.
A) You spend it, they are within their legal rights to come after you & for large sums, they most likely would.
B) You inform them in advance of the error. If you are lucky, they might allocate a small amount of additional free play, suite upgrade, or something smallish to say thanks.
C) You immediately log out without using anything. Do absolutely nothing for a good while, then re-check the balance again to see what's what. If it's gone, then no harm done. You did not exploit the situation & can claim you didn't know it was there. If it's still there, then you wait & wait. After a few months, you can then go for it. Stay under the radar, play 2/3x per week & spread it out over a few months.

That's a lot of dealt 3 of a kinds, and good cards like Aces and 2-4's! How long were you playing to see that much action? I'm lucky to be dealt 3 of a kind in good cards once or twice a session. You had some hot machines. Also are you able to say which casino you were at? I'm in Wisconsin and it's been really cold around here too. Looks like a nice selection of games and good pay tables so I'm wondering how close to home it is.
I had 3k of fp but I knew it was an error. Never touched it and it was gone the next day. Honesty is the best policy.

They can come back later and use this video as evidence against his friend. I hope I’m being paranoid, but better to be safe and not advertise this event.

I was going to say, usually there is a cap on the amount of credit can be redeemed. Caesars properties I believe is 5K per day at most.
Free play and comps are actually regulated by most gaming commissions, casinos can get in trouble for not following them as recently seen in Pennsylvania. Although I would spend some of it, I would be careful to not use an excessive amount over what I would normally expect. And since casinos can award free points as part of a giveaway / raffle you just never know what to expect.
It’s a pleasure seeing all these handpays, however it gives off the assumption that they’re easy to attain. It would be nice if you could put a +/- of your total in and out of every Machine. Including how much time you spent on each machine. Thanks.

@@fender89s Someone input in error an extra 0 for a free play event and everyone participating received a massive amount of free play. Many people used it to bet immense denoms and received tremendous jackpots before it was shut down.
Why would you even need to have to think about it? Trying to keep it is stealing.
This happened to a guy sitting next to me at old Bally's. He hit three top symbols on a 3 reel and he thought he won 1MM What the machine said was one million 'reward" credits not dollars. Then when he tried to cash out it said "ERROR Call Attendant" he did--they said-machine malfunction-the top jackpot is 250K Reward credits not 1MM to which he could cash in 3:1 so the 250 became about a 75,000 win. A lot less than the "million" he thought lol
well they gave it to him......

It's free play so I would hit slots that are lower denom Like $10-$20 max bet. I will than try and get as much of it in voucher as I can so even if I get banned as long as they don't find the voucher where I hid. I can probably get someone to get it for me. This is if there is no autopay option for handpay

I would deal with it the same way I would deal with a deposit that was mistakenly put in my checking account. I know that it's a mistake, so I would report it. Unlike the bank, I would hope that the casino would let me keep a little for my honesty. That's just me though. Thanks for all of the cool videos.

Greetings from a dark and gloomy Torrance! Rain is just a few days away! I had to read the comments before making a comment. My answer is "No comment!" Just kidding. Its an interesting conundrum. Do you risk getting kicked out of your favorite casino? Do you go crazy and max bet? Each person has a different answer. My only thought is "How do I want to sleep at night?" Peacefully or always wondering if this is going to bite me in butt? Plus, if its the casino I always take my Mom to, I would never risk it because it would hurt her more than me if something happens. But, if it happens to me, I will let you know what I did! Thanks again and stay warm in Utah!
The smart move is to steer clear of the extra free play. It is almost certainly. a crime to knowingly take freeplay that you knew was an error.
I've had extra free play that I could not account for, but it was a relatively small amount and may just have been some promotion I never got in the mail. But here, a million is not something you did not see in your mailbox.

If you keep a mistake like that it's the same thing as stealing money from a bank that accidentally deposits money in your account. The casino could prosecute you for theft and that would be a felony by the way.

I would find a $500.00 machine and go to town.
After one 3 of a kind you would be found out because of a taxable if playing at $500 stakes

One time, I had 250 of free play show up on my players card. I didn't know why, so I reported it to the players' club, and it ended up I won a drawing. Maybe that's what happened in this situation.

They are worth billions because they watch every single penny that runs through the operation. It was definitely a computer error, but they will audit it eventually and go after where the money went. If a bank mistakenly deposits money in your bank account, they can go after you if you spend it.
