I cannot express how happy I am for you, and how blessed you are to spend time with your grandma! I am genuinely curious how someone at 18 can afford such a lifestyle (no judgement)... ...More power to you for living the life you desire vs. the one that's "required". Best of luck and safe travels!
RUclips money can be pretty good as you get more views. But her parents are probably willingly paying for it. That shouldn’t be a negative for her. If her parents support her and help her travel whats the difference between that and parents that pay for their 18 year old at college?
Obviously you didn’t watch the video as she skipped breakfast because of the price and she’s staying in hostels. She doesn’t even have a proper winter coat.
@Footballislife1900 your rudness is unfounded and frankly comes across as unworldly. There was no disrespect in my comment, and certainly didn't warrant your disparaging and uneducated chiding. Let's hear your analysis on the cost of travel even while staying in Hostels and tell me how someone skips meals forever to cut costs? Possibly, could you break down that flight cost or tell me how much essential oil infused showers cost? Sit down white night; you're not needed.
Jadyn, so many people have loved following your journey so far. This is another fun vlog where you've captured how much you enjoy seeing the world. I'm inspired to take a positive mindset into 2024. Hope you continue to share your happiness, thoughtfulness and adventures. Thanks and love 💖
Wow, the snow covered mountains by the lake and traveling by train looks like a postcard and to top it off being able to spend some time with grandma is the best!! Thanks for sharing...
I smiled through this whole video. Your zest for life and gratitude for things big and small is infectious! Soak up all the memories of this adventure, Jadyn. Oh, and hope this helps cover a future breakfast. 😊
Really nice filmwork, Jadyn. You've done a great job of showing your viewers the beauties of Switzerland. I'm glad you and your grandma got to experience it. Thanks for sharing.
I love this episode. I love that you and your beautiful, young grandma are besties. And Europe in winter is magical. My mom let me travel to Europe at different times starting when I was sixteen (with others) and now that I’m a parent, I have a whole new appreciation for that. ❤ soak it up! It’s amazing!!
Live your life… just do what you enjoy and there is nothing wrong with that. Some people want to stay together and some don’t.. there is no “right” answer. Just enjoy all life has to offer!!
A great video Jadyn, beautiful winter scenery. So glad to see that you bought a winter coat and that you met up with your grandmother. I wish you well in your travels and look forward to seeing where you go next. Stay safe. Best wishes from the UK.
Great to see that Jayden sparkle again! The first time I visited Switzerland was in the winter at 25 years old. Loved, loved driving through the scary but scenic winding cliffed roads in the Swiss and Italian Alps to quaint villages. One time while stuck driving late at night between empty quiet towns I turned a corner into a massive festival in the middle of nowhere that was still booming at midnight! The Europeans know how to live life in special ways. Have fun exploring girl!!
Enjoy every moment of your solo trip. Switzerland is indeed so beautiful in both summer and winter. Very nice video and looking forward to your next one.
You Made me remenber my first interrail journey visiting France Ireland and england… going from One hostel to another One of my best journey ever. Thank you!
I’ve watched you sailing with Zatara. That was really nice, seems a nice family. Then you decided you wanted to travel “solo”. Good for you! You are doing what I wish I had done at your age! And then inspiring your Grandmother to get out and do it with you! She did something she wasn't sure she could do. Its never too late. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy for you that you are doing what you want to do, never stop.
Haha that cute doggo just appeared out of nowhere! 😆 What an excited, happy pooch. Good on you for just literally doing it! Have such a great time, Switzerland is absolutely stunning.....and so is your beautiful Grandmother! ❤
Nice video, lucky you to witness Switzerland in Winter- I was there a few years ago in Summer and it was truely beautiful but winter looks very magical. Safe travels!

I've been to Switzerland in November, traveling solo. It is a stunning country. Actually, I've only ever been to Europe off-season. Gonna miss seeing you on Zatara but glad to see your exploring, always be safe cant wait to see where this journey takes you but go back and reunite with Finn, he needs you and the Whitaker family loves you and all of us love ❤ you safe travels ❤
I can so relate to Celeste with respect to how hard it is on grandparents missing their grandchildren. At 59, I'm a granddad to my beautiful cheeky grandson Nate, who's 9 & lives 930kms from my location, where my only 2 adult daughters live. It's tough, especially at this time of the year, nearing Xmas & or missing birthdays. It's not always possible for me to travel due to health issues, and I need to be in Sydney for medical care. It's been like that since they moved away in 2015. I really miss life prior to then when we were just a short 15-minute drive from each other seeing each other every week.

First, you have an amazing grandmother! She is beautiful. Second, I see a lot of me in you. I grew up in Hawaii and I left when I turned 18. People always ask why I left? I always replied that there is more to the world than the Islands. I am 53 now and I'm still not done seeing what the world has. I have lived in 16 states in the US and have been to some Islands in the Caribbean. I know that one day I will venture to the places I want to go, like Iceland and the Orkney Islands. Great job, Jadyn! You are really talented and I'm so proud of you for following your bliss. I'm 57 and didn't have these opportunities when I was your age. Enjoy! Oh, and I lived in Boise from 2001 to 2017. Great town
I live in Switzerland and I know exactly when you've been in Zurich😅 (There hasn't been much snow this year down here, so it's not hard to guess) Glad to see that you're enjoying my country. Solo travelling isn't always easy, but it's very empowering. Also, solo travellers tend to connect to others much faster. Stay safe! Hey Jadyn, I was so excited to see you’re in Switzerland. I’m from Salt Lake and my buddy and I are headed to Zermatt next month for a ski trip. Glad to see it’s snowing!! Stay safe and and soak it all up, we’re all jealous.
I do have to say that I only just found your RUclips because of the Whittakers, but honestly I adore your style of filming and I love that you're experimenting with being on your own, it helps me learn that being alone isn't that scary and it can be really fun...but anyway, love your videos love you, thank you for making such good content for us
I travel through Europe in winter on a regular basis... Temperatures are easy to deal with...I can see my friends that are impossible to visit in the Summer months....
Hi there, I’m a fan (god that sounds sad) of your RUclips channel and I have a suggestion for you: You should try rosti in Zermat! And don’t miss the chance to see Cervinia, a beautiful ski resort on the Italian side of the mountain you re staying at. This is a tip from an Italian guy who now lives in Australia, is a coffee addict like yoy, and has never sent a message to a "you tuber" before , but loves to see you enjoy life and experience new things. Good luck and keep up the good work!
I'm from Boise and I remember a news station doing a story on your family when you started sailing! Also my husband is from Switzerland and it is VERY expensive.
I was so darn close to booking a train holiday beginning of December from London to and around Switzerland, kinda wish I had though also happy I decided to stay with family as I’ve been holidaying all year. Can’t wait to see where you go next. Best wishes.
This makes me so happy to watch. You go Jayden! It also makes me quite sad, because I used to travel the world at 18 but got very chronically sick shortly after. Cherish all your wonderful experiences while you can 🤟💚
Travel as much as you can when you're young. The years have a way of being a long time coming and a very short time going and before you know it you'll be a grandma too. I'm sure you'll be just as beautiful as your own. Also, I love how Glory keeps the Jack/Glory thing going. It's pretty funny.
I cannot express how happy I am for you, and how blessed you are to spend time with your grandma! I am genuinely curious how someone at 18 can afford such a lifestyle (no judgement)... ...More power to you for living the life you desire vs. the one that's "required". Best of luck and safe travels!

Hey Jadyn, I was so excited to see you’re in Switzerland. I’m from Salt Lake and my buddy and I are headed to Zermatt next month for a ski trip. Glad to see it’s snowing!! Stay safe and and soak it all up, we’re all jealous.
Can not express how happy I am for you!
I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. thanks
I do have to say that I only just found your RUclips because of the Whittakers, but honestly I adore your style of filming and I love that you're experimenting with being on your own, it helps me learn that being alone isn't that scary and it can be really fun...but anyway, love your videos love you, thank you for making such good content for us
Thank you so much!!
That's what she was hoping: tag on to a successful channel and grow her subscribers...
I travel through Europe in winter on a regular basis... Temperatures are easy to deal with...I can see my friends that are impossible to visit in the Summer months....
Great you like it here in Switzerland, welcome!
I love to watch your videos they are so great nice to meet your grandma to I been to Germany in the army so enjoy it all
How can you possibly not admire this young lady’s spirit of adventure? Totally admirable! 👍🏼
If you haven't made all your plans yet, think about going up to Finland. Amazing during the winter.
Awesome to see you doing what makes you happy. Don’t know how your parents are handling it. I would be nervous as hell. But have fun enjoy it.
❤ Beautiful snow
I just love these videos, whoever gets you someday is going to be very lucky!
I'm from Boise and I remember a news station doing a story on your family when you started sailing! Also my husband is from Switzerland and it is VERY expensive.

I think the two button disperse a different amount of water for #1 and #1. Probably trying to save some water!
And Celeste is lovely🌸
Grama to the rescue how cute and sweet
I wish you had taken us shopping with you. I love luxury stores, especially Loewe. Looks good.
I was so darn close to booking a train holiday beginning of December from London to and around Switzerland, kinda wish I had though also happy I decided to stay with family as I’ve been holidaying all year.
Can’t wait to see where you go next. Best wishes.
Happy to see you to do this Solo Journey by yourself enyoy your Life.❤
Beautiful sites in switzerland and enjoy that beautiful view
This makes me so happy to watch. You go Jayden! It also makes me quite sad, because I used to travel the world at 18 but got very chronically sick shortly after. Cherish all your wonderful experiences while you can 🤟💚
Travel as much as you can when you're young. The years have a way of being a long time coming and a very short time going and before you know it you'll be a grandma too. I'm sure you'll be just as beautiful as your own. Also, I love how Glory keeps the Jack/Glory thing going. It's pretty funny.
