He's trying to make like he is insane. He was on hallucinogens of some sort . Most likely LSD
Mentally insane and legally insane are different. You can be mentally insane but not legally insane.
insane does not mean stupid
Clearly not in his right mind.. He thinks one night in jail and release him? The poor family, it's so sad.
He's trying to make like he is insane. If he were into Angels and what not, he would be reciting facts, specific names, the reason his family is dead, i.e., they were demons in disguise and Archangel XYZ stood by him instructing him. The bodies dragged to the woods, burying his Dad showed that he knew what he did was wrong. If he was delusional, he would have no reason to escape as he would have been a righteous warrior.
He's got a demon in him and that's why the audio is screwed up. You're hearing both of them. Listen at 30:33 -- a woman's voice CLEARLY tells him to leave and then he does. And since this is literally a police interrogation video, no one can say it was faked for views. That's REAL spiritual activity around him.
I agree !
Spooky I wonder if that could be part of the reason he wanted out of the little quiet room so bad rather be in jail then with his own thoughts and whatever is haunting him 👻
I had to listen a second time, he's not alone, that's for sure.
Yes I heard it too

Mestre was admitted to Haven Behavioral Hospital in southeast Albuquerque prior to the shooting this past year. The center aids in mental health and substance abuse.
According to the property owner, the Mestre's were renting since 2021, and there were no signs of concern, prior to the shooting. Though left in a state of shock, he described the family as sweet and kind.

Mental Healthcare like our Medical care is junk & full of quacks. However, during the interrogation, the guy seemed lucid. Some choose evil. Sounds like his case.

Who designed an interrogation room with only 5/8 in dry wall with studs 24 inches on center? That room should have 1/2 inch high-impact drywall with a fiberglass mesh with studs 12 inches on center.
