When I was a kid me and my dad were fishing off the wall along the road when a fish swam out from under the vegetation it was at least seven or eight feet long, now this was not long after I seen the movie "Jaws" but what I didn't know at the time was that it was just a huge harmless sturgeon... I'd never seen one before so I had no clue what it was... I was yelling for my dad to come and look but it swam away before he got to see it and I don't think he ever believed me but I really can't blame him an eight foot fish yeah right.... but I've talked to other people who have seen them in the brown stone quarry as well.... For years I never new what it was until a friend told me that when he was a kid they would toss pieces of hotdogs for the sturgeon to eat so that confirmed it for me because I gotta be honest after some time I started to doubt myself but there are monsters in that quarry. My biggest fish I ever caught there was an eel over four feet long... We had to hook another line into the eel in order to haul it up the side of the wall...true story cross my heart!

I’ve seen multiple huge ones looking down the wall into the water. That was about 20 years ago…they are probably 10ft by now!
