For Good Bokeh, the most important thing is Aperture or F-stops (They are both the SAME thing), The lower the F-Stop for example F/1.4 the more blurrier the background will be, the higher the F-stop, the background will be more in focus. Using this video as a reference, this means that if shooting at an low Aperture (remember Aperture is the SAME as F-Stops) like F/1.4, the distance from the tree can be closer to the subject that you are shooting and you will still get wonderful bokeh. :)
Hi, i'm new to using DSLRS, only really using 35mm point and shoots. I've got my camera in manual focus and have adjusted the aperture which only makes it blurry close up or a clean picture if not a close up, i've tried using the slider to get a blurred effect but nothing. Just wanted the same effect as to how you've done this in the video. thanks.
you can establish bokeh with the kit lens if you increase distance between the subject and background and if your glass is closer to subject even at 5.6, however according to subliminal4se you say whatever you want where close means far and right means wrong.
Hello there. you make some interesting points in this video. Sometimes it is a good idea to write down bullet points on the parts of the subject you want to talk about. Not a script as such. Just gentle reminders, so you dont forget. Aperture is an important point, especially with Bokeh, also mention the lens (glass) you are using. Different lenses will produce better or poorer Bokeh. Finally, when putting text up on screen, do check your spelling, you want to make sure everything looks right.
It's really the bigger the aperture the better the bokeh. Smaller aperture is anything greater 4.0 and bigger aperture is 2.8 or less. but of course as subliminal4se says... you can pretty much say anything you want even if it's incorrect.
The ISO is not the quality of the photography. Its the camera's sensor's light sensitivity. So its how sensitive the sensor is to light. Typically you use a higher ISO in low-light such as indoors and a lower ISO in brighter light such as outdoors. But if you are outdoors and shooting sports you need a really fast shutter speed but if you have a low ISO and a fast shutter speed your image will be completely black or really dark so you have to compensate by bumping up your ISO.
You should talk about setting the aperture to give the smallest focal length
This is great, wanted to know how to do this. Hope you will do more. Maybe on light paint, long exposures, star trails. Thank you for your help.

just requires a lens with a low f-stop if i'm not mistaken.
Hi Hitesh
Bokeh Effect was really good
I have Nikon DSLR D5100 with 18-55mm VR Lens

Simple and to the point.
Thanks
Can you please make more videos like this, they are really helpful!
You didn't mention anything about aperture and depth of field...
Do i have to have to have my camera in any setting im still very new at using my camera?
didnt mention apature, which one of the most important things

Prime lens is perfect!. but i chose the stock lens because it is what most of the viewers will have!
U use 18-55?
Yes!
Thank you you're good
Good bokeh video maybe next video u can show people how to hold a camera still! Hahaha! Just kidding Good video.
You meant, the lower THE NUMBER of aperture (meaning bigger aperture size), the better the bokeh.
people picture with bokeh technique and more about lighting
18-55 lens here..how to focus like that..:O
@SumitNumbaa26 haa
15 - 55 mm stock lens!
very fu*king good!
@SumitNumbaa26 glass = lens. :)
When you make a video you can pronounce it however you like
Such a cute cow XD
just because you're offended doesn't mean you're correct
What would you like to see?
