Man accused of filming kids at WV pool was at center of landmark Texas case in 2011

Before 61-year-old Ronald Thompson was arrested at Dreamland Pool in Kenova on June 18, he was charged almost 13 years ago under similar circumstances in San Antonio, Texas.
Thompson, who is from Kentucky, is in Western Regional Jail charged with child erotica after he was confronted by parents and arrested as they said he swam under children filming with a GoPro camera at Dreamland.
Back in 2011, he was arrested and charged with 26 counts of improper photography after he was accused of filming kids at SeaWorld in San Antonio. Those charges were later dismissed as a result of a constitutional challenge.
