The best show this season and one of the best of all time. Olivier's creativity is in new territory that only a handful of fashion designers have ever been able to tap into. This show reminds me of tribal costumes but on another planet.
Balmain never disappoints and regardless of the walk in the shoe, if you are true to it you will see the garment regardless, it’s call at first sight…….
So wonderful to see mens clothing stand out like women do. Men should dress like the peacocks they are for a change. So over drab mens boring clothing. This show was SO impressive! ❤
Bravo, too much creative energy which made you have to acknowledge something special was happening. The show took you back or forward to a space you think you've been or might go to. Kudos for the set design and the visuals from above. Such beauty, it just kept on going, like the Designer just flowed with creativity which reached you on so many levels. !!!!!
Unhinged designer let loose.. seriously this collection was an eyesore. Too many looks, outdated digital prints, and the eveningwear at the end looked like a project runway unconventional materials collection
One of the most confusing beginnings to a collection I have seen in awhile. The later middle to end seemed more focused. The earlier looks felt very derivative of early McQueen and Iris van… it was just ok.
The menswear boarding on lunacy- everything else was overdrawn, like tattered curtains that survived a hurricane- something to be said for wearing so much fabric- one definitely has a "set sail temperament". ⛵️- as in "The Flying Dutchman" .
This brand continues to confuse me, I still have yet figured out what Balmain is, and this collection did not help clear up anything. It seems that this collection was a "homage" to Vivienne Westwood, Iris Van Herpen, Alexander McQueen, also the " menswear" reminded me of several past collections that Virgil Abloh designed at Louis Vuitton, and much better, lol. These clothes are made for fashion editorials , celebrities, not for the real world.
As a straight masculine man, i cant help but feel under represented in fashion shows.
