“International legal framework is perfect”. Why is it not working if it is PERFECT

Because people aren't following it. I understand your point but just because there are rules, even really good rules, doesn't mean people will willingly follow them.

It’s enforcement. The ICJ and ICC is a joke for America and it’s Allies. The international courts could rule whatever they want, but have no means of enforcing it.

Because the so called free world despite being better than let's say Russia or Iran, it's not free nor democratic but plutocratic

Not exactly a hard hitting interview.

      What would you have asked?

@@georgejpgAt 2:40, he asks about how the Red Cross’s actions have become the subject of political debate.
If I wanted to go deeper, I would follow up and by ask about some of the Red Cross’ actions which brought about this political debate (I had to research myself what he was talking about).
If I wanted a more cutting interview, I would ask about whether having Pierre Krahenbuhl as director-general of the International Red Cross would interfere with their neutrality, as he was a commissioner of UNRWA , which has promoted Anti-Israel and Anti-Semitism in their organization and schools, under the guise of humanitarian aid.
As is, this is interview is an informative as a press release, and not as informative as the Red Cross’ own FAQ page about it’s role in the Gaza conflict.

@@jamessloven2204 I think those questions would be easily brushed off considering ICRC has nothing to do with the UNRWA. And Krahenbull hasn't had any involvement with the ICRC since 2014 (His involvement in the UNRWA started after 2014 and ended in 2019).
Regardless, the UNRWA hasn't promoted 'Anti-Israel' or 'Anti-Semitism', so that line of questioning really goes nowhere. The only record of those allegations that I could find comes from the UNRWA itself. They say that in 2014 an Israeli filmmaker released a film called 'UNRWA goes to war' that made those allegations, but there seems to be no trace of the film online. Begs the question, why would you ask them about that of all things? Need I remind you, the subject of the interview represents the ICRC?

@@georgejpg UNRWA literally had 60% of its funding cut off last week because dozens of its employees participated in the attacks on October, and allegedly many of its teachers supported the attacks in their classrooms and private Telegram chats.
The director-general of the ICRC was the commissioner-general of the UNRWA until 2019. I would suppose asking after the appointment of chief officers would be a valid line of questioning for an interview.
In any case, you asked what I would ask about and I gave one example if I wanted a sharp interview. If the ICRC has some criticisms by national governments (real criticisms, not ones that play well on social media), I would like to hear about it and their rebuttals.
As this interview stands, it is essentially asking Ms Spoljaric Egger to make a speech, and that isn’t journalism.

@@jamessloven2204 No, 60% of UNRWA funding is being suspended OR reviewed following ALLEGATIONS of participation of some staff in the attacks.
The current director general of the ICRC is Robert Mardini who has absolutely no connection to the UNRWA.
It would be extremely odd to talk extensively about allegations relating to the UNRWA to a representative of an entirely separate organisation.
I found the interview quite informative, but regardless of your opinion of its quality, it is objectively a piece of journalism.
