Hi Magdalena, rattan rope would be the perfect material for the arms. Another option would be a wool/yarn knitted into an i-cord which I used on this video. Thank you for dropping a line, I do appreciate it.

Depending on the size of the bottle, you may use ping pong ball or small styro ball.
