For Bedrock / console players: Because you can't change the redstone into a dot place a slab instead of the trapdoor and raise the ceiling by half a block.
Because You can't change the Redstone into a dot place a slab instead of the trapdoors and raise the ceiling bye half a block
I did this but then the zombie couldn't attack the villager when he was lowered how can o fix that
Thanks. Can confirm, this works like a charm
do u keep the cross Redstone?
thanks
I reccomend placing trapdoors on the wall that seperates the villagers so that they can gossip and make their trades cheaper.

Make sure to set your difficulty to hard otherwise your villagers may die.
theres a 50% chance for them to not die on normal as well :)

Mine died
Is there a way to get similar results in non-hard modes?
@@copterinx0468 no, if you aren't on hard then no you can't get it
Thanks I really love how simple this is and that it doesn't need a ton of different blocks, much easier for a survival world when you're more of a beginnier or reintroducing yourself to minecraft because life is hard sometimes ❤️
This isn’t beginner bc you need slime which isn’t easy to get at the start of the game
@@thisaintCosmic depends on spawn but yes slimeballs are harder to acquire than diamonds/ancient debris sometimes.
@@BossmanRoyce Yes I agree.
Gonna agree with that one, if you dont spawn near a swamp you can test map slime chunks using chunk borders below level 40,
this is amazing! short video that’s to the point and the build works like a charm! i subbed btw
so easy to build and it works perfectly THANK YOU SO MUCH✨️👏🏼💖
You're welcome!!
So easy dude 🤘 will forever be using this! Thank you sosososoooo much
Thanks for this video because this video gives me a new idea for my trading hall so ya once again thanks 🙏🙏🙏
For anyone trying this, make sure your difficulty level is set to hard, and not normal or easy, cause in easy and normal, zombification can kill the villagers instead of converting them to zombified villagers.
Thanks
OMG TYX
I built this a few days ago in my realm. Exept mine is alot more complicated. Gonna turn to this now. Thanks.
I saw another tutorial but it required a nametag but you have saved me SO MUCH TIME by letting me know i can just give the zombie something to hold
Thank you for your trading hall idea i will build it
I was just going to build this in my 1.16.5 world, and i found it today by my boi!!!
damn bro this is the easiest trading farm I've ever seen, thank you so much!!
Awesome mechanic I'm gonna make this in my hardcore world thanks dude 😊
I have found the new shulkercraft. Amazing video 👏
Notes while building a villager trading hall:
This was all done in 1.19.4
These notes are for the functional/mechanical side of the villagers
when making the trading hall.
-If a villager does not take the job you give him (such as librarian),
then I found that if you place a bed he will take the job. He will eventually take
the job but a bed will speed it up. You can always break this bed whenever.
-Once you turn a villager back from a zombie, their trade will change.
-I found that if your villagers keep dying while you are trying to turn them into
a zombie, that you can give them a carrot or something and they have a higher
chance of not dying due to more hitpoints. This does not always work. Also, I
read another comment saying that you can change to hard mode if they keep dying.
-Repeating the same curing process on one zombie villager does not affect the time
it takes to cure the villager.
-If you trade with a villager you cannot change their trade (just so you know)
will this effect a iron farm near by
@@ahmedkhalfan9244 yeah i got the same question
@@ahmedkhalfan9244 If You place beds on 3+ villagers for the hall it might, otherwise i don't think so.
But if you trade with villager and then turn him to zombie villager and cure him, will the trade still change
Even if i have already traded with a villager and i turned him into a zombie, he will change his trade or no? Bc if this farm is useless🥲
Easy fix for people without sticky pistons, place slabs on the floor where the zombies are so they can still reach
where do you meen
can you explain what do you mean?
@@user-vz6yl3zq9r the hall zombies are, you can add slabs so they can reach the villagers
Instead of a block the zombie is on, make it a bottom slab and the piston a regular one that way you dont need sticky piston
Thank you very much, I was struggling with that part
wow nice villager trading hall
I liked your all videos
slime can be quite hard to get sometimes so id try finding a way to change the design to use a regular piston to put the zombie in contact with the villagers
You should do a video where all of the afk farms are going at once and see how that works out
If the zombie isn't attacking your villagers turn all the pistons off, log out of the world and rejoin.
Thanks man, had that problem
thx
running out of simulation distance and going back works too, I do this instead of logging out because I play with others most the time
it still doesnt work for me any tips ?
@@LucaMaisSansSyou could break the trap door that the villager is standing on, that might help.
Nice tips man
Awesomeee as always
Thanks again man!
the first row doesn't really look like a baby-zombie proof hall.
But catastrophie can be prevented by double-carpets I guess. Surround the hall with doublecarpets or a trap for mobs to fall.
what about just using a trapdoor bruh
@@1bingbongtingtong1 Yup, that's the trap I was considering in the comment. Maybe have trapdoors leading to a water stream, or a bunch of campfires, or magma blocks, and have a line of hoppers or hopper minecart collect all the mob drops.
@@hqppyfeet7513 No, just trapdoors covering the villagers bruh
lol, you don't need to overcomplicate things, though a huge trap does sound fun
Great trading hall design! Just one flaw, i found that the xp from trading gets stuck at the back where the zombies are, how could I fix that?
It's not meant for xp but you could just dig on the back to easily collect them, so like where you could see the zombies feet but they can't attack you
Edit: it seems to work if you just walk on one of the back blocks
I like the music in background while you enslave those villagers lol
Thanks bro 👍
wow this is the most easiest trading hall build ive seen so far
My pistons work although the zombie is not able to attack the villager for some reason. I'm not sure what is wrong because the build is correct.
Same wtf
@@jimargyrop8728try to push the villager closer to the hole where zombie will attack him
Because the zombie cant reach the villager because of the trapdoors and idk how to fix it thats my problem
I obviously recommend making a villager farm just in case if you’re in normal, if one of your villagers die
Coincedent or what im searching the hell out of youtube and you uploaded a video on trading hall xD
i am watching you 👀
Can you make it with regular pistons?
(Edit): for anyone wondering, yes. You can place regular pistons and place a trap door so it stands on the piston from the side
I don't really understand?
Explen
You don't need sticky pistons.
Put one piston directing upwards. One redstone dust on its front. Above the redstone, put the working table you want for your villager. Right in front of the table, put a Lever.
Now you need to put one slab at the exact level of the piston so that the zombie can hit the villager and one trapdoor on the roof behind the villager once the piston is inactive (because you need to deactive it for the zombie to hit the villager).
This way the zombie can hit the villager because of the slab (If you remove the slab he cannot hit the villager) and the villager cannot escape because of the trapdoor (remember that It must be flat to the roof).
@@lucasrodrigues238 won't the zombie be able to get on the piston with the villager? (Nvm just tried it and it worls)
@@lucasrodrigues238puedes decirlo en español?
Can we use normal pistons?
Thanks
if you have no slime you can just use a piston with no trapdoor but put a trapdoor at the top behind the villager
Tip: Turn on Hard Mode instead of Normal Mode so the villagers have a 100% chance of turning into zombie villagers as opposed to normal mode's 50% chance.
Great desingt
Thank you broo 😘😍😘😍
is there a new way to use a normal piston because I haven't build a slime farm or discovered a swamp biome. Can I use a normal piston and sand as a replacement?
a regular piston wont lower the trapdoor, so they villagers wont get turned.
You could build the same design, just without the zombie bit.
Meaning the hall works, just without discounts.
One way to do it would be to get the discounts before putting the villager into the hall, but at that point a different design might fit you better, one in which you can easily get the villagers in and out of the hall.
@@Lunethia havent tested this, but im pretty sure you can replace the block the zombie stands on with a bottom slab, and use a regular piston without a trapdoor
@@JustAPot can you explain it clearier?

A little tip for java 1.20 : If you re struggling to push the minecart onto the trap door just open the trap door push the cart and then close it, just as new
thanks you
thanks a million
Everytime I break the minecart that they are sitting in, even when I put temporary blocks in the back, the villager keeps phasing through the blocks somehow and escaping
@@aPhatPhoenix let's assume that you're putting temp blocks only behind the trap door but they can "phase" through corners , so put 2 more temp blocks on left and 2 on the right of your already 2 temp blocks(6 in total)(he also mentions it in the video even if he s only showing 4 blocks), fill the "tunnel" so they don t have valid blocks to get to. If you are already doing that and still they phase, i can t help you :D
@@timebender874 yeah I realized I was suppose to use 6 temp blocks lol preciate the reply though
Ok I feel stupid, but following this step by step and every time I break the minecart, my villager glitches out the back and is standing where the zombie will end up. I put temp dirt blocks behind the chamber and have tried breaking the minecart with the piston both in the up and down position.

Hey guys. I have a problem in my world. I can heal a zombie villager, but that villager's trades don't regenerate
Do you mean that they don't restock? Either way, make sure you have enough beds and workstations for each villager, if you're playing on bedrock your villagers may unlink from a workstation if you don't have enough beds or if they don't have access to their workstation and they'll register to another
Once you traded with a villager he doesnt get new trades (i think).

When I lower them, they get a job, try this too.
After they get a job hit the lever again and they come back up with the job

What problem?
on bedrock do you need to place beds too?
by me the zombie doesnt attack the villager
Your design is well made and I thank you for your time and effort,
I’ve made a few adjustments for automation, thought I would share.
I connected all the pistons to one lever with light indicators for on/off, I then added dispensers spaced 2 cells from each other for the weakness potions, connected that to a lever so now you can flip to infect then flip back to cure. Only thing is you have to manually do the golden apple.
Works for bedrock edition as of now and still lowers trades. I’d recommend atleast one bed to classify it as a village, and finally do one villager at a time, way less of a headache when trying to link workstations.
Just recommendations,
all credit goes to “Laz1n Farm”
why not arrow of weakness with that dispenser? i saw 1 channel using that arrow cuz you can make more arrows from 1 bottle

Regular pistons work fine but kind of annoying so keep that in mine
You can go to a swamp or mangrove biome and build the slime farm from KelpMC (it's an improved version of Il mango's). It's very easy to build, with only one spawn platform. This gives you a double chest filled with slime balls in an hour.

I can’t change the dust into a dot… does this not work on Xbox?
Eu fiz no meu mapa e deu certo.
Vou tentar fazer isso com uma laje aq pra ver se funciona
