BEFORE BUILDING guys make sure youre on HARD MODE so the villagers will infect. if not on hard, theres a chance the villagers will die instead of turning into zombie villagers and ruin your process.

there's no need for hard mode, works on easy mode just as fine as well. just peaceful isn't possible of course.

I didnt build it like you but im grateful because you showed how "easy" it can be to get everything running efficiently
so i made a villager hall under ground similar to this layout and have been using rails to get them in but forgot about the discounts with the zombie...this layout could not have come at a better time! Love everything about this build. you did such an amazing job! keep it up :)
This build is fantastic, I didn’t have dark oak yet so I made some substitutions but I love the design! Is there any way to avoid the trapped XP when doing the trades? I notice I can’t collect it all from the full block workstations like smithing, fletching, etc.

Looks good and I know it’s in creative mode but how can you get any vocation while you have all this barrels …. Shouldn’t the villagers become fisherman before you add any workstation and while you are resetting as well ?

When u trade one time with them they are looked to the job (i only tested it on bedrock)

Non functional in survival there is no way for their trades to replenish design must include beds for villagers so they replenish trades
in Java u don't need beds to replenish their trades, are u on Bedrock?
I believe there’s enough space behind/above to add beds (if that’s the issue)

U guys can place a trapdoor under the stair so the villagers cant escape und you can easily place a lectern and replace it
Do you have to have beds for the villagers to link to the jobs
It doesnt assign the jobs for me... dont the villagers need beds to work? I'm super confused, tried breaking the barrells too like you said

don't barrels count as work blocks? wouldnt the auto assign to those?
ye they do. You can either avoid placing em or get the villager trade you want and lock it in before moving them

Make sure your breeder is far away. There should be no beds where the zombie is.

I'm playing the Bedrock version but the powered rail doesn't trap the Zombie, he just walks over it. Is there something I can use instead?
Nevermind, just keeping the Zombie in a minecart seems to the job just fine 👍

I'm trying this in a 1.20.1 version, but for some reason my zombie isn't attacking the villager :( any idea what could be causing that?
The only thing I don't have is the light below the zombie, is the shroomlight necessary or is it just for aesthetics?
U just have to be fast and trap the zombie inside the little area shown in the vid and when u block that area the zombie will go for the villagers

did u break the barrels? it might be interfering, or if u used any other job blocks, break them and then place them later

Hi all, i have a small problem: because of the many villagers iron golems start spawning in the hall. The iron golems always kill the zombie... how can i fix that?

@@lexibhcr2 try building fences or cover the area around the zombie such that large mobs i.e golems can't enter the zombie's chamber

you prob figure this out but try getting far away or simply cover yourself with blocks the zombie wont attack the villagers because they were targeting you instead the villagers
