Swoboda has the right attitude every athlete should have. She is happy she has done her season's best. She is running against herself not against others

Do 55m have record 6.54 sec ?
Kambundji
The best is the fastest. The commentator made an illogical comment about Kambundji being the best. Julienn Alfred has run faster than 7.00 seconds at least thrice this season (6.97,6.96 and 6.94 seconds). Congrats to Kambundji. I’m not surprised. Even when she was less successful she was always quick over the first 40 metres of a race. She’s been the golden girl of Swiss track for a long time.
This race was on 3rd March, Julien ran 6.96 and 6.94 (at altitude) last weekend which was after this, so Mujinga's official PR of 6.96 at sea level was still better than Julien's at the time of the European Indoors final. Either way Mujinga has multiple World Indoor medals and 1 gold and I believe major titles matter just as much as times if not more. Julien has a good shot of winning world indoors next year if she attends!
@@AJT127 Good response. I stand corrected🙂. I’ve always believed that the highest level of track and field performance is to break a world record in the final of a global championship.
The announcers play up the events they cover so he is pro European, a subtle marketing angle. It's just his opinion like anyone else except he is on air. Also, there is the temptation to think a runner who won convincingly would have gone faster if pressed.
Until they race head-to-head, the argument is moot. imho
Only one of them looks European to me. So is it fairness or money ? ps. when fractions of a second make a difference so do genes
Le record du monde, 6,92 s, est détenu par Irina Privalova (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/60_metres).
Est-ce parce qu'elle est russse que personne ne le dit ?
I saw there ER as 6,92. What exactly is missing...?
