  • *INGREDIENTS *
    BATI
    900 gms wheat flour
    250 gms suji
    Salt
    1 tsp haldi
    2 tsp ajwain
    1/2 cup ghee
    Water
    DAL
    1 cup green moong dal
    1/2 cup Chana Dal
    1/4 cup yellow moong Dal
    Oil
    Jeera
    1 Chopped onion
    3 to 4 hari mirch
    2 Chopped tomatoes
    1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    Salt
    1 tsp haldi
    1 tbsp dhania powder
    1 tbsp lal Mirch powder
    1 tsp jeera powder
    Fresh coriander
    Water
    Ghee
    DAL TADKA
    Oil
    Jeera
    3 dry red chilli
    1 tsp kashmiri lal Mirch powder
    *PROCEDURE *
    1. Rinse and soak the dals for min 1 hr.
    2.Boil Dal with Salt, haldi,ghee...in a pressure cooker...3 whistles n 20 mins on low flame.
    3. Whn the cooker cools down , open it mash the Dal , add water to adjust consistency. Keep aside. #recipe
    4. Heat oil ,add jeera, onion, green chilli's saute it.
    5. When onions turn translucent add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, all the spices.Add some water and cook the masala.once oil starts separating add the Dal.
    6. Mix well ...add water to get a not so thick Dal.Add fresh coriander leaves. Cook on low flame for 10 mins.
    7. Make tadka of oil ,jeera,curry leaves, dry red chilli n kashmiri lal Mirch powder.
    Add this tadka to the dal.
    8. Knead a hard dough of Atta, suji, salt ,haldi,ajwain, ghee, water.Rest it for 30 mins.
    9. Make even small balls,place them in baking tray n bake for 25 mins on 220 degree.
    10. Once batis are ready , crush a little with hand and soak them in ghee for 10 mins .
    LEHSUN KI CHUTNEY
    INGREDIENTS *
    3/4 Cup crushed lehsun / garlic
    Salt
    2 tbsp lal Mirch powder
    1 tsp haldi
    11/2 tbsp dhania powder
    2 tbsp oil
    1 tsp ghee
    Fresh coriander leaves
    *PROCEDURE *
    #food 1. Mix garlic, salt n other spices in a bowl ..add some water.
    2. Heat oil..add jeera , add the garlic paste.
    3. Cook till oil starts separating .
    4. Add ghee n fresh coriander leaves.
