    The undisputed best video ever put on RUclips. It's hard to comprehend how much knowledge and diverse talent it took to make this happen. Always makes me smile watching this and watching other people have their first impression of it.

    You'll want to watch this again and again, for years (just once in a while of course). He did such a good job, and spews it all out so fast, I bet you'll watch it again within a month, or a week, or tomorrow.

      @@richardlandrum1966 I first heard the radio series on the LP whilst it was being played in a SF bookshop in Ipswich when I was at college back in, well, it had to have been 1979. I grabbed a copy of the LP, then learnt it was on radio. Of course, the television series appeared soon after. The books are a great read.

    I have a cousin who was a "girly-girl" growing up. I mean you know the type. In this day in age when she was a teenager she would have been a "Swifty." Then over the course of a couple days she started reading Carl Sagan on the recommendation of one of her friends. Now she's an engineer at NASA. I've spent hours with her trying to understand what she does and always can't quite get my head around it, but she doesn't mind because she loves explaining it. We're all curious. I think a key to life is triggering that impulse.

      Let's be fair, if he wanted FULL accuracy, the video is at least 50% longer straight up 😅 given he was no scholar of history, and spent a year or so researching even this level of knowledge? Tonga time? That's some...niche knowledge 😂
      He largely ignores Africa, skips over entire civilizations, and focuses mainly on "superpower" entities of X time period. China/Göktürks/US/England, whoever is top dog with base knowledge 🤔
      I'm always amazed

    I believe it took 8 to 9 months to edit that video. Bill Wurtz is awesome and you should look at his recent music videos. Definitely psychedelic and cheerful.
