What's are your thoughts on the CVT from a driving experience perspective? It seems to be interestingly contentious, with some people loving it and others disliking it a lot. Curious of your take, assuming you've driven the car?
From a normal driver's point of view, it's a very comfortable transmission giving you good gas mileage. But from a performance perspective it's not the best to have.

One is an sti, one is not 2. one is a 2.5 block, one is a 2.0 block (ej257 and ej205) 3. one is a six speed manual only while the other is either a 4 spd auto or a 5 speed manual 4. one comes with a vf41 and the other comes with a td04 or a tf035 those are the common differences between an sg9 and an sg5 respectively, the rest are aesthetic.
Barasa did a very nice article on the Daily Nation sometime back. He compares a number of Vehicles including a Toyota Vanguard and Mitsubishi Outlander.
We are all awaiting the secretly coming new 2021 STI might break 400bhp but subaru keeps secrets very well for sure the engine in the newer Ascent SUV will be the one in the STI only boosted maybe bigger turbo.

260 BHP is quite a lot. I understand you might want more but that power is more than enough for a family daily driver.

The Levorg has equal length headers. Most 2008 onwards Subarus have equal length headers and 2007 backwards have unequal length headers.

Yeah, in Kenya the new models arrive 5 -8years later. That was to explain it to the local market.
We may have done this review in 2014 and posted it in 2020.. Possible.
