The thing with the hound is he looks down on knights because he sees them as hipocrytes given he's brother is nothing more than a brute and a savage and they are meant to protect the weak that's why he never wanted to be a knight even tho he acts more knightly then most even tho you may not notice it since he's always so broody and threating people
The sky as well? I know the mountains and all are real, but some of the cloud formations, especially from the Fist of the First Men last episode, that looks genuinely surreal.
@@SeraphimisdeadKit Harrington talked about filming in Iceland and how magical it was. It’s where he fell in love with his wife who is the actress that played Ygritte.
Tywin doesn't know but they know how to keep you wondering. Logically if he had any suspicion, he'd have her back in the Kings Landing immediately. Not let her roam about free
I agree regarding Khaleesi. While there are a lot of things I like about her and her character arc, she’s sounds a bit like her brother when she says she’s the rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. I’m not sure why she believes that given the Targaryens weren’t even native to Westeros. They came over with their dragons and settled on Dragonstone back in the day to escape the coming Valyrian Doom and ended up conquering the prior Westeros rulers using their dragons. People didn’t choose them as their rulers but rather were forced to capitulate or burn to death. Her father was conquered by Robert and lost the throne. If she wants the throne she is free to try to conquer the current ruler but she’s by no means entitled to the iron throne at this point. Robert was sort of on point when he wanted her killed as she’s attempting to do exactly what he feared. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the character but she can be a bit entitled.
Robert ruled via rebellion, not appointment. So chronologically speaking with him dead and no suitable heirs on the throne, the crown automatically would go to either the oldest eligible Targaryen or the oldest eligible Baratheon. Since Dany is alive she is the ruler by right of lineage, should she die the throne would be stannis’ by right of conquest, if he dies than it’s a matter of essentially the next powerful person to quickly find a reason to legitimize themself as ruler
Then again you have to remember that all she has known and heard is her brother harping on about taking back ‘what is his’ - the books made it seem to me that she gets bored of his ramblings about it but equally knows no better than it being true
He is 99% right. At this point in the story, Dany has nothing going for her (apart from baby dragons) so why should he risk all to assist her in an extremely risky, expensive and (although I don't think he views it this way) morally dubious venture. However, he could offer her a ship to transport her and her people away from Qarth, even if only to somewhere else in Essos. That might have actually been the most sensible option.
I'm certain Tywin doesn't know. Remember Tywin still think Ariya is in King's Landing because Cersei never told him she disappeared. Robb is holding his son he would defiantly be willing to use Ariya to get Jamie back. I think little finger is suspicious that she looks familiar which is why he tries a couple times to get a better look at her face but i don't he gets a good look.
I think Littlefinger 100% knows, but there's no benefit in him actually telling anyone. He wouldn't get anything from Arya's recapture, but there's a ton of potential benefit to knowing that the Lannisters are lying about having her.
@@nathanlindahl8336 At 10:03 he literally cranes his neck to confirm what he saw. You can make up theories about why he wouldn't mention it, but he definitely saw. And he brings up the deal (that depends Tywin having both daughters in custody) immediately after seeing her face. Both of those suggest he knows.
I definitely don’t think Tywin suspects since as people noted he doesn’t know Arya is missing. I don’t think he’s ever seen Arya so likely wouldn’t expect the daughter of a high lord to dress as she does or to be slumming it in Harrenhal. I also don’t think Littlefinger picked up on it. If he did he definitely would have told Tywin or Cerci to score points.

Man, I forgot how great some of the character arcs are, like the Hound. Willing to dole out incredible violence, understand how pointless things are, but still doesn't want to stand by as someone is getting hurt.
With the introduction of Ygritte, I can now share my favorite behind-the-scenes trivia: Christopher Catesby "Kit" Harrington (Jon Snow) and Rose Eleanor Arbuthnot-Leslie (Ygritte) met on the show and began a relationship in 2011, then got married in 2018. They're also (very) distantly related, both being direct descendents of King Charles II of England. And they're still together with two kids, so good for them - no Targaryen madness here!
From season 2 onwards, , Iceland was the main filming location for the scenes set north of the wall. Nothing created, just natural scenery. I am pretty sure Dune was filmed on location too in multiple barren locations, even real deserts.
16 episodes into GoT, it's been amazing watching Ariana & Maple transition from Sweet Summer Children to fawning over an assassin! LOL!!! The heart wants what the heart wants!!! 😍

Jaime hates Tyrion, in part of because Tyrion can read (and Tyrion is a good guy, he is the one literally plotting to set Jaime free, Littlefinger going to Catelyn is Tyrion's plot, not to mention keeping his family and his "repulsive nephew" in power), when in 16 episodes we've seen this?
Of all the actors in the show, Theon probably has the absolute best role for an actor to have when you really look at the whole arc of the character.
