I love stormy, rainy weather, especially by the ocean. And of course without that kind of rain there wouldn't be the lush greenery. I am sorry you were not able to walk comfortably and see the clear, spectacular views but, Carolyn, I really enjoyed this. Thank you! 🌈 ☀️
What a beautiful land. Even the foggy, gray, stormy, rainy, rough sea whether is beautiful. That really was some torrential rain! Loved seeing those birds - thank you for that especially. I really like that van. It's so clean and bright. Great video. Thank you for showing me so many things that I now know I will never see in person. I am grateful for your sharing. Safe, happy, healthy travels to you Carolyn. See you next video!
@@CarolynsRVLife I'm loving the New Zealand videos. Its really like being there....that cell phone is doing a great job. Of course it helps to have a good videographer as well.😉
Hi there! I was just thinking about you the other day. I hadn't seen your name in a while. Good to see you. I hope you're doing well and staying healthy!
Carolyn's RV Life - 👍🤗Hi Dear Carolyn, 💝 I’m here sis, lots of stuff going on. I posted a comment a couple of months ago about Mrs. Phyllis Stokes passing away in January. She adored you and your channel. She mentioned you in this video ruclips.net/video/aAlX3PONZY8/видео.html at around the 26:03 mark. She was like a mother / grandmother to me. I loved her and her husband, Mr. Bucky. So glad you’re doing well and thriving. Wishing you the absolute best. Stay healthy. 🤗💞🤗
Thanks Carolyn taking us along. Aww ringer roller machines I liked ringing water out of the clothes and soap bubbles . Take care I dont like steering, driving on the opposite sides . You make it look so natural.
This bought back so many memories for me, I’m from South Island now living in Australia. Not unusual to have 4 seasons in one day. Hopefully you get to see the mountains in fine weather.
#110 Good morning, Carolyn. New Zealand is a beautiful place, I probably will not visit it in my lifetime. I turned 72, but I enjoy your videos. Stay safe, The World is changing due to a virus attack!
Love this, I love the rain. It's chillaxing, reading with tea kind of day... I love the beat and staccato of rain and the freshness of the air. Sweet villages and so different from N. American camping sites. The Ocean is a bit rough. Thanks so much for sharing Carolyn 🌴😁❤
10:30 and on for a bit, I love the ocean when its like that, in the NW Olympic Peninsula. This may be cloudy but its still beautiful... And that Intense rain!! You get a taste of all NZ has to offer! :-))
Another enjoyable video! Even if you just walked around and showed us desert rocks, I'd be happy--just keep the videos coming. We need an escape from our current reality! ..PeAcE
Lovely video. We need that rain where I am. Didn't get enough rain or snow this year. Yikes, looking out the windshield while you drove took some getting used to. Can't imagine driving the roads. Thanks for publishing another winner!
Yes! My mom got her hand caught in the wringer, too. My baby bib tie caught around her rings. They had to cut them off. Owie. Very cool little camper. Maybe too small for permanent living, i guess.
WOW! Horizontal rain! Can't rain any harder than that! Also explains why the surf was pushing so fiercely! Thought it looked pretty wicked! Grew up on the coast of WA state & when the surf is "Pushing" like that there's a Bad storm bout to hit. Looking at that surf in your vid made me think DANGER! Strong under tows to wipe your feet right out from under you & Rip Tides to suck you out to sea in a flash! After those rough seas is best time to find treasures on the beach.... We're those shells covering the beach, or stones? Take Care Carolyn & STAY SAFE! HUGs!

Hey Carolyn thank you for the video I enjoyed it and I feel the same as you I think the RV is better and there's less windows in it I don't like all those windows
Now we are in lockd own in New Zealand it seems surreal that our Island where we roam cannot be roamed now we are encouraged to go out for a walk but stay in our patch and physical distancing from others. You take care now you are home be safe and be well.
@@yyxy5798 I'm not so sure now tbh. I've been disgusted at how NZ has treated travelers here when thru no fault of their own some have been left homeless and destitute. They closed campgrounds, hostels etc and some of these people had nowhere to go. And I say this as a kiwi. At least she's home now in her own RV and won't be left destitute. We pride ourselves on treating our guests well, but that hasn't happened. I would have hated to see that happen to this lovely lady.
What a lovely area, I bet that it looks spectacular in good weather. The van looks lovely too. I've been thinking about down sizing my motorhome which is a Renault Master Adriatik 6.9 metres for a camper like yours. It was interesting to hear you say that although it's really pretty and well laid out, you now know that having spent time in it, you couldn't swap your motorhome for one. I think that I would probably be the same. You've just got to weigh up the pros and cons, haven't you?
Haha that clothes wringer brings back memories. When I was 2 years old my grandma had an electric one and I got my arm caught in it,still have the scars from it and I'm 60 now haha.I can remember it believe it or not. That was some traumatizing shit.
It’s good you went there right before the pandemic - don’t know how long I will have to wait now....😕was it easy finding nice campgrounds on the South Island? I was thinking of doing some housesits on my trip since they are plentiful in Australia. Have also signed up for a birding trip in the fall of 2021, but it may be cancelled. Thanks for your videos - it looks more approachable now.
Thank you for sharing your travels. We have traveled everywhere, but never made it to Australia & New Zealand, so beautiful. I too remember wringer washers. May I ask the brand name of your lavender framed sunglasses? They are really nice. Thank you, Jeanne
Wow that was some rain! But beautiful. I like the idea of a van but I need storage so I think I’m a potential 5th wheel or class c kind of girl in my rv dream.
Like some of the others here. My grandma had one with a tub and a motorized ringer and I got my hand up to my wrist caught in it. I thought I broke it, I was like seven or eight and I will be 61 the end of this month and I still remember the pain 😱
I’ve been planning a trip to Australia and NZ and was nervous about driving there - looks like you came back alive....I love the camper van! Just my size - would you rather have stayed in motels or Airbnb’s if you had it to do over then?
