I drove around my neighborhood and used my hand heard loud speaker called my dogs name and a block away from home I heard him bark. Then I got out of my truck went door to door and found him with a lady that planned to keep him, however I took him home after he was lost for 7 hours. That was so scary and I was so upset then thankful for the lady that kept him safe. Get your megaphone out and whistle or call her back home.❤❤❤

Lester I am with a group that helps to find & catch lost pets. Dogs go into survival mode usually after 24 hours. You will need to put flyers up everywhere that people will see them most. Gas stations, stores, the rest stop, at stop signs & intersections. Also Vet offices and let your mail man know they go to every house and May see her. Also let police know in case she gets reported. Put the flyers in page protectors/sleeves upside down so when it rains the rain won’t get into the sleeves, staple or duct tape to posts, telephone poles, etc. from experience finding a Great Pyrenees they will go to a farm towards the back along the tree line. Just like Sadie did at your place. She will search for a ranch cause her instincts wants her to work & protect animals. So check all the farms. Be prepared if you see her she may not come to you, it’s the survival mode she’s in. Do not face her & talk low & soft, baby talk like, sit on the ground that sing gently treats. She may come to you. Be soft & gentle. Use your drone to search along tree lines of properties. You may need a trap to catch her. Use liquid smoke to make the trail to the trap and food smell big time. Look up ‘How to build a Missy dog trap’ it has a laser to close the door when she goes in to eat. If anyone says they seen her, put a camera up to see if she keeps going to that area. If she does set the Missy trap there. A camera that sends you pictures right away is best. You can watch the trap. Yes annoying raccoons will go in and you’ll need to let them out to reset the trap. If you put large marshmallows outside the trap it fills the coons belly up fast and ones that are alone wont go into the trap with a full belly. Do not give up hope, it can take up to 3 weeks to find locate & catch her. Do not blame yourself, you can’t stop a panicked dog from getting safe in her mind. Also buy a gps collar for her when she gets back, you’ll know exactly where she is next time she escapes. Remember her instinct is to protect a farm & a dog can survive eating many different things on a farm. I’m saying my prayers for Sadie & you. 🙏🏻✝️🕊️

Sadie is such a huge asset to the farm. I don't know about Texas but where I live there's quite a few Facebook pages dedicated to finding lost animals in the area. But her instincts may just be to watch over the next herd she come along to. I'd print up some posters as well.
My GPs are notorious for running off, hate storms and fireworks. I only have one now, Harley had to be put down. We have no animals for him to guard anymore so he is an inside dog. He now has a prescription for Xanax from our vet for the firework holidays. Praying for Sadie's safe return

I'm so sorry for little Sadie! A friend's dog run away from the fireworks at the 4th of July and was found three weeks later, totally dehydrated and scared. It took weeks for her to become her old self! Will say don't give up searching for her even if it takes time - she will be around somewhere. We'll pray for her and for you all!

Hi Lester - I’m so sorry to hear about Our sweet Saddie. I have often asked you to give Saddie a wee tickle from me in my comments, so my hope will be wherever she is, someone is giving her a wee tickle or two right now. I believe anyone thinking about leaving harsh words, you need to really think about the power and the impact of your words - for good or bad and if you honestly feel your words would better the situation of Sadie’s missing. You may not always agree with all of Lester’s or Jami’s decisions and although it might irritate them both, it’s seems everyone has an opinion that they seem to want to share, but there should never be any question, in anyone’s mind, to how much this couple care for, care about and try to keep safe, all the while providing each animal under their care, the best life any animal could dream of. - Sweet Saddie included. Lester, do know I will be praying to help Our Sweet Saddie to find her way home safely. Again Lester, so sorry to hear your sweet girl is missing - and don’t be harsh on yourself. What happened was not at all your fault and having a dog escape out a door and run off, has happened to so very many….

I'm so sorry for little Sadie! A friend's dog run away from the fireworks at the 4th of July and was found three weeks later, totally dehydrated and scared. It took weeks for her to become her old self! Will say don't give up searching for her even if it takes time - she will be around somewhere. We'll pray for her and for you all!
