This song has so much emotion behind it. I've cried to this song so many times over the years. Every girl I thought was the one ended up ending horrifically.
Then I met my wife and we had just both gotten out of relationships where we were cheated on and left broken. We tried to take it slow and we fell apart for a few weeks because we were both scared.
We realized we were being stupid and just jumped in 100% going with the flow and not caring about what others thought. We moved in after 6 months. Engaged at 9 months. This woman is my soul mate and we just got up and left everything behind for our life together.
Now this song makes me cry tears of joy. It's one of the best song of all time in my opinion. The lyrics and emotions have transformed along with my life over the years and it just works on so many levels.

I'm a big anime fan, so I have to say that my personal preference is for the oedo one, but this one is still friggin great. The coolest thing about it is definitely the fact that they commissioned it themselves. Great to see that one of the best edm acts has such a love for animation. Agreed on the art style. It's a weird combination between dc character designs and anime-inspired backdrops.

yeah, akira is considered one of the most important anime to have ever been made, and i definitely noticed.
This song has a lot of personal meaning to me. I found it last year while I was visiting my father in the hospital. It helped me through that difficult time.. Crying on the drives to home and work and back to the hospital.. This is the first time I've come back to this song since he's passed

This is one of the first few songs I listened to on my first pair of actual high-quality headphones, and I was tearing up. This song is amazing, and any doubt I ever had about that is long gone.

Are they an influence? Yes, but you can say that about every fucking EDM/Dance artist, because Daft Punk has been around since the mid 90s. This is sorta Daft Punk-y, because it's house music, but to say that the rest of Nero's Between Two Worlds album borrows anything outside of the basics of electronic music from Daft Punk is kinda silly.
