The video is about the book "Paradise Lost" Where Lucifer goes to heaven to beg God not to flood the earth on behalf of the human beings because he learns pity for them and loves them much more than their father. This is why Lucifer gave mankind the forbidden fruit to obtain infinite wisdom of good and evil, but it was God who cursed mankind to feel pain and suffering and childbirth because we went against his word.

It's an epic poem written by John Milton in 1674, and is more a story about how humankind lost its place in Eden, and how it was caused by Satan's envy. He's the adversary for a reason.

All too often, we find ourselves holding unforgivable grudges against one another. Even people like me that forgive freely and openly.... I too have people that I've never been able to forgive. Maybe it's time I just shut up and let go. Maybe it's time I said okay, enough.
It depends, I guess. Obviously, in this video they're really making an effort- why forgive or care about people who don't & would just continue in their toxic ways? I've been more on the "too forgiving" side in my life & had to learn to draw lines with people who just keep hurting me. I don't consider "forgiving them" to be a thing even until they go through some massive change. But otherwise: if there's effort & you have the energy for it then I guess it's worth trying but at a healthy pace 💙
@@KanaNyctous I'm a big believer that forgiveness isn't for them, it's for you. It's about letting go of the pain that you've been clinging tightly to. Removing a burden in your life that's keeping you from being the happiest you can be. If someone does something "unforgivable", that doesn't mean they can't be forgiven. It means they can't be trusted. You don't have to give your trust back to someone who doesn't deserve it. So, if you can, you forgive and you move on. Part of moving on though can mean that the person you forgave, isn't a part of your life anymore. Or that you keep them at a distance. Whatever makes sense.
To explain this video to those that don’t understand? The demons of hell / fallen angels? Wanted Satan to continue to fight god. In his wisdom, which he learned through his experience , he realized the error of his ways and decides to apologize rather than fight. The damage of what he did is already done. So god is still angry with him. And punishes him. Mind you? Gods rage is like no other. This sends Satan down to earth. The garden of eden. The humans share an Apple with him. And it is the knowledge of all the suffering of earth and his own and that of hell. Satan turns into another being. And he storms to heaven to share with Jesus and god a level of love and apology they wouldn’t expect from their number one traitor. Jesus feels all his pain. And suffering. And Satan loses his extra power and is drained. And is truly forgiven. Because he is truly sorry. And thus given the gift of heaven in hell and on earth. This video is about love and forgiveness. From both the highest evil and the creator.
I won't argue with this explanation cos it does seem to me like it's spot on, but I will say the added context kinda ruins the song for me cos I think God is just a huge dickhead and the only person Lucifer would have to apologise to is Jesus himself.
Alrighty, looking at some at some at some of the other comments, my take is this: Paradise Lost ends with Lucifer and the fallen angels being smote into Hell. The reason why Lucifer is in Hell is not because he's been a bad boy, but because he is too proud to apologise, sincerely. When he does apologise to God, it's not because he means it, but because that's how he thinks he will get out of hell. He's the prince of lies. As Beezlebub said, "you must defeat God". There is still that oppositional dynamic. Lucifer's pride obfuscates his intelligence and he is the prince of lies, not because he creates them, but because he believes them. In crashing down to Earth he has the choice to die, but he eats the apple and gains divine wisdom etc. and realises that an apology is not enough. It needs to be truthful. As such, it seizes the truth (Jesus) without asking, because it is the truth, and because of that, you have everlasting peace, because the devil finally saw what he was missing the whole time. Of course, the heaps of dead lady angels and God being represented of a woman makes me wonder about how this reflects on contemporary sin.

Anyone with half a brain would resist the prince of lies, but wouldn’t you be shocked if he told the truth? Jesus spent 40 days with him. His entire profile is wrapped up in his rejection of the devil. The water is tears, in my eyes, if you’ll excuse the pun. God knows this from the beginning. The fact the most adored of his creations finally cops on would be something of a relief.
What would you believe more then a half lie half truth combined ? You say something that sounds logical and true but shove iv some little lies and you get your portion of decieving. I've seen smart people getting decieved by the exact same thing, half truth and half lies.
Biblically, Jesus felt the pain of anyone who touched him, I guess as a way of knowing if someone was being truthful about their illness/injury. So in my opinion, when he hugged Jesus, Jesus felt all of the pain, misery and betrayal that Lucifer felt when he was cast out and rejected and it overwhelmed them. Not religious or a bible scholar but I think that part makes a bit more sense with that context. Cuz it just kinda seems like Lucy is hugging him and Jesus is over-reacting lol

To explain this video to those that don’t understand? The demons of hell / fallen angels? Wanted Satan to continue to fight god. In his wisdom, which he learned through his experience , he realized the error of his ways and decides to apologize rather than fight.
The damage of what he did is already done. So god is still angry with him. And punishes him. Mind you? Gods rage is like no other. This sends Satan down to earth. The garden of eden. The humans share an Apple with him. And it is the knowledge of all the suffering of earth and his own and that of hell. Satan turns into another being.
And he storms to heaven to share with Jesus and god a level of love and apology they wouldn’t expect from their number one traitor. Jesus feels all his pain. And suffering. And Satan loses his extra power and is drained. And is truly forgiven. Because he is truly sorry. And thus given the gift of heaven in hell and on earth.
This video is about love and forgiveness. From both the highest evil and the creator.
I won't argue with this explanation cos it does seem to me like it's spot on, but I will say the added context kinda ruins the song for me cos I think God is just a huge dickhead and the only person Lucifer would have to apologise to is Jesus himself.

Alrighty, looking at some at some at some of the other comments, my take is this: Paradise Lost ends with Lucifer and the fallen angels being smote into Hell. The reason why Lucifer is in Hell is not because he's been a bad boy, but because he is too proud to apologise, sincerely. When he does apologise to God, it's not because he means it, but because that's how he thinks he will get out of hell. He's the prince of lies. As Beezlebub said, "you must defeat God". There is still that oppositional dynamic. Lucifer's pride obfuscates his intelligence and he is the prince of lies, not because he creates them, but because he believes them. In crashing down to Earth he has the choice to die, but he eats the apple and gains divine wisdom etc. and realises that an apology is not enough. It needs to be truthful. As such, it seizes the truth (Jesus) without asking, because it is the truth, and because of that, you have everlasting peace, because the devil finally saw what he was missing the whole time. Of course, the heaps of dead lady angels and God being represented of a woman makes me wonder about how this reflects on contemporary sin.

Anyone with half a brain would resist the prince of lies, but wouldn’t you be shocked if he told the truth? Jesus spent 40 days with him. His entire profile is wrapped up in his rejection of the devil. The water is tears, in my eyes, if you’ll excuse the pun. God knows this from the beginning. The fact the most adored of his creations finally cops on would be something of a relief.

Biblically, Jesus felt the pain of anyone who touched him, I guess as a way of knowing if someone was being truthful about their illness/injury.
So in my opinion, when he hugged Jesus, Jesus felt all of the pain, misery and betrayal that Lucifer felt when he was cast out and rejected and it overwhelmed them.
Not religious or a bible scholar but I think that part makes a bit more sense with that context. Cuz it just kinda seems like Lucy is hugging him and Jesus is over-reacting lol
