In order, i think this is what happened in the end. - BMW M3 GTR becomes most wanted in Rockport - car of number 1 on the blacklist - Player beats Razor in the BMW M3 GTR he stole from us, cross and the cops are very angry and all cops are chasing us. - We escape to Palmont via the abandoned rockport bridge which leads to carbon canyon leading to Palmont City with the BMW M3 GTR - Cross follows as a bounty hunter and chases the Player in the BMW M3 GTR - Player keeps driving and escaping but the road is barricaded by a truck carrying wooden logs - Logs hit the BMW M3 GTR, totaling it in the process and destroying it (it doesn't look damaged in the actual game) but the game says its totalled (canon), the protagonist of Most Wanted/Carbon loses his legendary and most loved BMW M3 GTR forever :( - BMW M3 GTR goes to a scrapyard - LT Mercer finds out about it and fixes it up and takes it to Palm City You could also say that the BMW M3 GTR was found in the scrapyard first by the protagonist of MW 2012 where he fixed it up, but as he became the Most Wanted aswell, it got taken from him by the police department and got impounded - then LT Mercer took it from there.

That M3 has been through a lot of C6 Corvettes and roadblocks, now it can't stand a few rams from a Huracan.... Kinda disappointed but at least the ending is better than Payback
Been hit by a fuck ton rhinos, walls, the oil pan got poked, got fell on by debris. I don't know why the fuck it happened to get pwned by a few scratches from a Huracan that's in very bad condition.
Would've been a lot better if the GTR got wrecked in the chase instead of just gotten a little scratch and failed to start. Then at the end you got the keys handed to it repaired as a "gift" from the community for rescuing all the cars. A bit disappointing ending imo

This final mission where you have to take down the M3 GTR is not hard because of difficulty, it's hard because YOU HAVE TO TAKE DOWN THE CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I don't know ending felt a little bit hollow here but it is the best NFS storyline since Payback though. I do hope that the DLC continues it with Eva now the new leader of the task force.
I feel like this whole game is setting up a sequel. Officer Danny Shaw (the asshole cop who disappeared after you wrecked his car and money went flying everywhere) doesn't appear anymore, supposedly arrested, maybe he cut a deal so he has to get back on the streets... I bet he wants revenge... And Torres the new ruthless chief of the High-Speed Task Force. So many things for a sequel.
BMW M3 GTR, owned by Player, Razor took it after he cheated before race, Player got it back and escaped from Rockport, chased by Cross at Canyon, got totalled after crashed to construction site and abandoned, somehow ended up being part of illegaly impounded cars in perfectly mint condition, only used by Mercer as escape vehicle until the Player (not same person with MW player) stopped him.
I just dont know what is more badass: Ryan beating fucking hard milestones and beating Razor in 999 races making Hot Pursuit and Bridge Jump, or main character of NFSH beating crap out of 9999 cops and crashing M3 GTR? Kinda Ryan but still Still, NFSH ending just made the beginning of Mercers game
