@@GodzillaKingofthemonsterverse He has to catch it at the right time because that AC fan is so noisey and he has to wait for it to just go into idle mode or the quiet mode.
The term lemon is used to represent something that always have mechanical issues and failures. In that case the R179s were called “lemons” due to its constant failures while testing, and it’s door issues.
It doesn't look bad, in fact a little better than the r160/143/179s. But I'm sad they will be getting rid of the r46s, I only got to ride those trains literally once in my entire life 😔.
I’m actually not sure whether it was used. CBTC was active before the R211 came in. My only guess is that they probably turned it off while it was running on the line.
I wish these was 4 cars I wonder if there any possibility they can have 4 cars for like the l m trains because the l train been stuck with the r143 for longest and the m train been stuck with r160s I wonder if they gonna build new cars for the j m and z train line
These equipment are still going to be more and more problems as we all know mechanical failures that has all sorts of problems and causing a lot delays and inconveniences on how long will train will resume and there is gotta be another solution to make up a comeback to avoid these high tech problems and nyc subway system is not made for them, unacceptable waste of billons of dollars of buy new tech trains that don’t work properly and bigger mistakes of sizes too!
That’s true, but thats what testing Is all about, to make sure everything is running properly. Every train is gonna have issues when they first arrive, even the old techs when they arrived here back in the days as well. Eventually the issues will be fixed. Trains will not enter service until the trains pass their multiple different tests. Unfortunately, the R179 cars were still experiencing mechanical issues even after put in service where it’s door locks will malfunction and doors open when not intended too. Eventually the fleets doors were given a software update and a checkup, and now are running fine. Same will apply to the R211 cars If they find any issues. Currently they are having Propulsion System issues, causing the train to loose power. Hopefully this issue is fixed soon and the train passes it’s test so the rest of the fleet can come in.
Such a sight to the see the R211s on the E line!
*Read The Description* for more info on the R211s testing.
Do a video of its propulsion no track noise pls?

At first I thought If this convoy so fast And what speed do you use? When in a test run
@@GodzillaKingofthemonsterverse Working on it!
It's nice to see it go almost everywhere.
Oh shit, the R211 is on my favorite line!!
This is honestly awesome! This train is going legit everywhere. Dang, calm down MTA. 😅

@@TSSmina The propulsion on the new R211A's are quiet.

I wish the windows were longer they seem so small due to bigger doors
huh why do they already have ads? and im so glad seeing this that not all the ads are screens
6:13 the way it was gonna say bye to it’s retirement friend, R46
I’m pretty sure people are eventually going to call these “Ice Makers” because of the loud AC fans. Kind of like how the R179 is called “Lemon”

The doors on the R211A look like the ones on an R179.
The design that is should must have made version look more like R40M R42 cars and others too!

Well we all know what the propulsion sounds like now.
Very cool catch
