    Thank you for the video. Can you also discuss about the silver diamine flouride treatment ? As I understand it, it can treat and stop cavity and re-strengthen the cavity tooth. Afterward, you can have a filling without a need for a drilling. As you can see in some of the videos, the dentists drill out and hollow out all the enemal and dentin and fill it with the artificial composite resin.

    Thanks for letting me know my dentist was trying to scam me. pain only lasts 1 second after. kept pushing for root canal. No cavity what so ever...gotta go dentist shopping

    Please make more similar video to educate potential patients with issue with cavity. I hardly have any sensitivity and my predatory dentist want to extract and put in an implant tooth. My concern is that even with implant tooth or root canal, it is not a done deal, you may have to replace it after 5, 10, 15, 20 years later.

    Thank you so much. Very clear to understand. How come on the radiograph there can be a periapical radiolucency indicating either cyst granuloma or abscess but nothing like an abscess is detected clinically?

    • @BURSTOralCareTV
      @BURSTOralCareTV  3 года назад

      Often times a radiolucency could pick up a current infection or even the leftover space from something that was previously active. Just like cavities, xrays sometimes find things before they cause more obvious smptoms

    What if the pain is coming from inside and won’t go away but when they put hot or cold on it it isn’t really much more severe.

      There are various stages of damage to the nerve of a tooth. Definitely worth taking the advice of the dental team you saw for your xrays and assessment.

      There could be if the area is somehow not anesthetized. In most cases, root canal procedures are comfortable.

    What if i feel the pain spontaneously at night is the tooth indicated for root canal treatment?

    • @BURSTOralCareTV
      @BURSTOralCareTV  2 года назад

      There's really no way to tell for sure unless you consult with a dentist in person. Night time grinding, sinus issues, fractured teeth, cavities... those are all possible sources of pain and you'll need a consultation to figure out exactly what's happening. Pain is never normal so don't wait to schedule a visit :). Good luck

      Some people feel discomfort for a little while after their root canal treatment but you should call the office that treated you to get specific instructions and let them know how you feeling. They often schedule a follow up visit to check progress.

    The almost standard option is an implant. Why take a chance on the root canal failing? Most offices do shoddy work and rely on repeat business.

    • @toothrestorer6588
      @toothrestorer6588 3 года назад +1

      @ ExtremeRecluse. When endodontic treatment is indicated, for a restorable tooth with a good prognosis, standard option is not an implant. Implants are not failure proof. Oftentimes, the contours of the gum will look more natural around a tooth that an implant. Implants are just another arrow in our quiver but they are not teeth

    • @wikadaip6543
      @wikadaip6543 2 года назад +1

      As i get older. I realized, i will try to save my tooth if possible. If extraction needed then implant follows. Here, root canal treatment is less expensive that implant. So, extraction and implant will be the last option for me.

    • @drewbarrow5670
      @drewbarrow5670 2 года назад +2

      @@wikadaip6543 root canal is more expensive because it ALWAYS fails over relatively short period of time and after that you need a new treatment. Furthermore when root canal is failing it often brings side effects and collateral damage which can cost many times more than initial root canal treatment. It's my case, I have spent 10 to 15 more than price of root canal treatment procedure because of failing of this treatment and collateral damage to my systematic health (infection of treated root canal)
