Just love Ambers voice, knowledgeable, gorgeous, enthusiastic, caring, charming, this is one of my favorite interviews. Amber shares so much with the community of heartland viewers, she is so busy and still has time to share her life with us❤️💖💜❤️💖💜💗💖💜
I am just starting to re watch Heartland again because I have forgotten what it was about. It was nice to see you so young Amber, and the interaction between you and Graham W.
Season 1 - Amy was 15 yrs old. Season 2 Episode 1 - Had Amy's 16th Birthday Party Surprise. Amber is just so talent and a very nice/friendly person. I think one of the main reasons for the shows success it one the horses but the characters are so real - down to earth. They resonate with people. I love how Amy's hair is alot of time, just like a normal person, messy with hair everywhere etc. There are times she has it groomed, like the rest of us. The characters are like real people. So the audience resonates and draw close to that. I just love this show and honestly - I have not found another show like it or evern close to it. Heartland has some dramatic scenes that are not my cup of tea but I understand it is needed to a show, they don't overdo it. Thank you so much for having done this interview with Amber.
I loved Amber talking about horses. This made this interview one of my favorites. I admire Amber, so authentic and grounded. I enjoyed watching her also on other videos with her own animals and cooking in her kitchen. Makes me wish I'd had her experience with animals when I was younger.
So fascinating to hear her talk about horses and how they behave, react and need to have that bond they establish when together as a herd. Amber's knowledge of horses goes way beyond what most Heartland fans know or understand. She truly is an amazing lady who has a realistic and tremendously knowledgeable understanding of what goes through a horse's mind and how they think. Thank you, Talent Talk for this wonderful interview with Amber. We learned even more about her and just how challenging yet rewarding working on the Heartland set with all these horses (in whatever way) can truly be. I personally have an even level of respect and admiration for her now, as I understand more fully just how much time she devotes to these horses she works with on Heartland. That takes true devotion and a commitment that runs deep. You can tell Amber truly loves what she does and loves these horses with all her heart and soul. What an amazing woman she is!!
I think it's kind of charming that Amber does not remember that Amy is 15 - not 16 - when the series begins. She seems so genuine and grateful that Heartland is so important in her life. I love the nuances of her character, especially that Amy's empathy with animals does not extend easily to humans. All of the Heartland characters have very human flaws, and that I think is why the series flourishes. I've seen that several of the comments on these youtube interviews believe that Amy should be more perfect... but that is not the shades of gray that is real life. This amazing show is not a fairytale and was never meant to be. If fairytales is what you expect, give Heartland a pass. The rest of us will continue to enjoy its intelligent and unique qualities.
Here is another good description for Amy. She was very credible and authentic as a horse whisperer and western woman. However, she was completely inauthentic and had no credibility at all as a loving girlfriend, fiance, or soul-mate. Indeed, her character (Amy) never demonstrated or taught us one positive element about how to have a successful personal relationship. The only thing she did do well toward Ty was give him nice gifts (stethescope, desk, office plaque). Think about that. Amy never demonstrated how you should forgive, how you should sacrifice, how to have empathy for anyone other than a horse, how to trust someone, and finally how to be honest with someone you love. Those were things that only Ty taught us to do. Whenever I see Amys face all I can see if the face of infidelity and of an insincere / inauthentic person.. Why would young women want to root for or emulate a person like that? The producers really did their loyal viewers a disservice by making Amy into such a negative person.
I am in California and I can’t find season 15 anywhere . I have subscribed to the Faith channel and it isn’t on there . It is a wonderful family show . And we don’t have tv shows like this anymore . I so appreciate this beautiful show . I think there is a huge demand and need for this kind of shows . That makes sense what Amy said about how close the cast is . We can all feel that through the screen ! Love to you all :)
I also like that characters wear clothing like the rest of us, you have a few shirts, few pants, few shorts etc . . . . and ya just rotate them. Esp Amy, Ty, and Jack.
have 2 years following "heartland" and its protagonists and I think Amber Marshall surprises me more and more by the fluid and abundant of her explanations and arguments. I regret Graham Wardle's departure from the show but it was his decision and the twist I'm seeing in the plot of the show looks bold and novel. Thank you for following everyone involved and I look forward to seeing many more season

I have watched all seasons except only part of 15 and seasons 1-15. Numerous times and I now see why Graham left. In my opinion, Ty and Amy together made the show no doubt. Now it has lost the “family “ aspect. We now see the too many escapades of Lou and Tim brightly, the insertion of alternate lifestyles, and the realization that magic and human emotion ended with Graham leaving. As far as I’m concerned the show is done! I hope the writers realized what a great mistake happened when Graham left it should had ended in a positive note!
The limiting factor on Heartland's run will be the ability of Shaun Johnston and Amber Marshall to tolerate the work, for Jack and Amy are the indispensable core of the show. Lou can move to Calgary or New York or Parramatta and nothing will be lost. Romances come and go. Lose Jack, lose Amy and the family and the farm are irrevocably changed. I would like to see the show continue for another fifteen seasons, if the writers can continue to come up with stories of relevance. Alberta will still be there. Keep it coming!
Will never be the same without Ty. Life goes on and Amy may be given a new love but he will always be second to Ty. They were teenagers. Experience so many ups and downs and got thru them all. Matured. Got married. Had a child. Made that adjust with a lot of give and takes. Building a house and tragedy strikes. Ty dies when they are the happiest and building their dream house. Ty dies saving Amy. U can find another but u can’t ever duplicate their love and I think the audience will see and never really except her with another man. Their love story (even make believe) had a large percentage of the fan base wishing she and Ty( Graham) we really married instead of her so call real husband. How do u overcome that. Some will except it because they want the series to continue and others won’t but all will other see Ty no matter who they put her with.
Amber nailed it, the writers do a really good job producing the stories, and in my opinion, the actors all do a good job bringing it all to life. the characters that are annoying, the actors really pull it off, ha! and the likeable ones also really pull it off.
I love heartland. It’s a show to enjoy far from all that’s going on in the world. I’m from Argentina, far South América. I hope the show continous. Until Amy finds her new love.
I have seen every episode many times over thru season 13 but I will never again unless the producers come up with a way to bring ty back and let him become the father he wanted to be. At first I did not want to believe anybody pushed Graham off the show but Michelle Morgan Wow. MM attacked and shamed Graham on Instagram about 8 weeks ago. Her post going after Graham is still up today. He was already off the show. Absolutely no reason for her to go after Graham like that. After making that post on Instagram going after Graham alot people were extremely disappointed and let her know it.
