  • If the church is merely an extension of the world's value system of greed and political power-mongering, then the church is unnecessary.

Lots of GREAT content and amazing points. Showing how the church is alternate to nationalism, meritocracy, individualism etc. is great. Now, we also need to demonstrate how the true church and true Christianity is transnational without being political globalists. We need to demonstrate the love of Christ so we can be corporately responsible without being politically communitarian . Being a part of the WAY involved being a part of a kingdom that is truly not of this world.

I finally learned the meaning of what you are saying. You brought me back to reality. Keep up the truthful reality. Jesus is our aime not this world. How easy to get wrapped up in what is current in our lives. I am so thankful Jesus's world will not be anything like this world. If we tried as hard at sharing truth about Jesus we might could have a revolution of people to Jesus. I think we have forgot what direction we are to go. APSOLUTELY a blessing

In this message is expressed what Jesus must have felt when He platted a cord and whipped the money changers out of His temple.
    Good work pastor Ty.

Very true that church is boring and what the church is versus what the church should be is a serious problem. I actually agree on most everything except when you called american companies that make weapons for sale Christian companies. Why are they christian? and what does that even mean? It doesn't make any sense to me. I'd call them war profiteering companies sure and I'd agree. But only one was founded by an open Christian that being Raytheon but that still doesn't make Raytheon a Christian company any more than claiming Google, Ben and Jerry's or Goldman Sacks are Jewish companies. Also the larger Lockheed Martin or General dynamics and six more (war companies) have no religious affiliation that I can tell but they do financially support politicians in both major political parties for influence.

Oh, Ty was being highly sarcastic, I believe. You can see him use air quotes, and his tone was absolutely disgusted at this notion. Rest assured, he is not actually embracing the lie of these “Christian” companies of human destruction :)

Can anyone help me understand the difference between Constantine saying he got the message to fight in the name of Jesus and slaying people in the name of Christianity and what the Bible tells us happened when the Israelites were going into the promised land? Maybe if I do more research on what Constantine was actually teaching and saying were his values I would see that they didn’t actually align with the teaching of Jesus. Is that how we would differentiate.

321 AD is a very special day for Constantine!! I do not believe anything this man did was from God.. Please refer to www.amazingfacts.org!! Please google baptized paganism!! There is a lot information on this evil man!! He was definitely lead by Satan or some demon!!

Good day Destiny. That is a very logical and thought provoking question. I certainly don't have all the answers, but I do know who does, and I wish something to at least be touched on to begin answering your question. All "fact" must have a common denominator when asked "how do we determine truth?" What is our measuring rod? If we use Constantine, my thoughts, or yours, we'll have totally different answers.
The Bible has several tests that are included throughout it, to test truth, knowledge, visions, messages etc.
The testable point I see here is that Constantine claims to have had visions or messages from God, to direct in his path. The same with the Israelites, no? So- there is our differing point. To identify what is real- what comes from God, is the message consistent with the character of God, and His larger purpose? Blessings as you seek to discover this- never stop looking. We must have the correct measuring rod to come up with a consistent and truthful answer! The Spirit will guide us into all truth!

“Grace= “The divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life.” Strongs Concordance
    The Reflection
    Reflect in my life Lord
    To all who may see.
    Thy love and goodness
    Towards us so free.
Reflect on me like a diamond
    With its beauty all veiled;
when light hits, it is fully revealed.
    Shine out to any
    Who might be near.
    Warm their hearts
    Dispel all their fear.
    Mesmerize them
    With the miracle of love.
    The divine energy
    Which flows from above.
    You are the light
    Your channel I must be.
    In which love flows
    For all to see.
    Make me willing
    To do thy will.
    Change me oh God
    While I’m perfectly still.
    I can’t imagine
    What it all means.
    To be full of love
    With Jesus a team.

I am trying to find the survey he referenced at ruclips.net/video/ugPxzaQyOR0/видео.html about 8 out of 10 not wanting anything to do with Christianity but the same number wanting something to do with Jesus. Does anybody know the source?
