I realy like the Ret playstyle with the procs and active playstyle and exorcism stil feels impactfull as I like the sound and it also fits the class fantasy of not only being a meele but also a guardian of light with holy power.
Great video and honestly very informative. Got a question about your weakauras swing timer. I have a very similar one however when all my haste buffs are up, the red line to indicate the last spell I can cast before a potential seal twist, moves off my bar to the left. How do you prevent yours from doing the same?

It was originally 2.6 then they slowed it down to 3.4 and then they sped it back up to 2.0 a day or two before Phase 3 launched, and I think the only reason to create a weapon that fast is to cater to the Martyrdom build.
Martyrdom is still fine on the slower weapons, the weapon needs to be really slow for divine storm to win, like 3.6-3.8, but of course divine storm has mana issues.
Yeah so you essentially mana pot during execute and when you get low on mana you stop casting hammer and fill with exo instead. I recently started adding a condition to the hammer of wrath APL to never cast under 15-20% mana and it only lost about 10-15 DPS but didn't go oom
Definitely think you’re sleeping on purifying power think it’s more dmg overall than just spamming wrath at 10% health left, also so mana intensive you’d go oom after a few
I'm not sure purifying power really offers any actual benefit outside of AOE. Holy Wrath is still a 2 second cast that resets your swing timer, so even just casting it is a DPS loss, and it's way more mana hungry than even hammer, costing you 645 mana, though you cast it a lot less. You're getting so many Art of Wars at 50 that you don't have the time or gcds to use a 2 second cast, and it reduces your art of wars by resetting swing timer anyway. Since you auto every 2 seconds or less, and each auto is 2 chances to art of war, with a 35% crit chance, casting holy wrath has an opportunity cost measured in exorcisms and seal/auto damage, specifically 2x 35% chances to art of war lost, which means a partial exorcism lost on average, plus a lost auto hit and seal hit. The CD reduction on exorcism doesn't really do anything since it's extremely unlikely you'll ever go 7.5 seconds without an art of war reset. You of course cannot cast hammers nonstop, due to mana, at some point you will have to just exo, but you can use mana pots around 10% to hammer more. Even if you play ina more mana conservative way, using hammer to fill the gaps between exorcisms, it doesn't cost you much damage since Exorcism is only slightly less damage for a lot less mana, and hammer adds damage by filling in those gaps.

i love this, my gut was telling me fill the holy tree to consecration, over filling the prot tree to get that hit with melee weps

I skipped phase 2 but ran a Gnomer right at 50 and got ACP. However, I think I used all my luck up and Sulthraze will take forever.

Stick to acp until sulthraze? Or use Parasonmia and go ds build?
ACP until sulthraze then ACP for haste then switch to Sulthraze after. ACP SOM is better than Parasomnia DS
