I have an 03 Tahoe. It’s never ever given me any problems. I have driven it up and down the East Coast and it has never let me down, even though I treat it like crap. I might get 2-3 oil changes a year and haven’t done any major tune-up ever... Still rolling with 200k miles. My truck’s interior is breaking down, but not the engine
Love the new Tahoe’s! I work at an auto repair shop and every time I hope in one of these I just love it! I’m about to buy an 09 suburban as my daily driver even tho I don’t have a wife or kids but the car is a tank and it’s as big as a truck so I’m right at home with it
You did good by trading in your Jeep. i believe you get tax credit by doing a trade in. I couldn't believe that you trade in the jeep tho,after all the modification and hard work that you did to your jeep im pretty sure it was kind of hard to let it go. anyways congrats on your new vehicle!

The Tahoe has been great to us. Love it for its ride, room and just full size. The Jeep is for the fun and free air ride. We had many issues with the Wrangler early on. And my friends 2015 Sahara is now giving him issues. Its a Chrysler product. As long as you understand that part, Jeep ownership is not a shock.
I agree entirely, Fiat Chrysler are making fine products these days. My 2012 JKU is an excellent vehicle. Unfortunately Ram 1500s have a very "Bro" stigma attached to them in this part of the country.
My Ram Dully with almost 300k runs perfect. And the Jeep after some minor factory issues ran perfect. Yes I agree Ford trucks the new ones. And it seems the 5.3 has a great reputation.

People that have 4 kids plus pets buy these, kids beat the shit out of them and parents drive their kids around all day, and all night in them. They take a lot of abuse. Gotta find a one-owner from a grandma that rarely drives and doesn’t have kids in it all day, everyday.

We looked at a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali for 53,000.. and it’s msrp was $75,000 (power running boards and 22s 23,000 miles) buy one used with 20 to 30 (thousand) miles And save 20,000. After the Tahoe is 3-4 years old, you won’t see another major downfall in value until it is around 9 or 10. (According to 07-14 body-style prices) Hey! If you have a massive down payment (which the average person doesn’t have) go buy one new!! But for the rest of us, stick to pre owned

fiero880 The suburban only gives you rear cargo space, doesn't make the 3rd seat legroom bigger. In your case, you can remove one of the 3rd seats and be good. Quad seats are the way to go.
aguyandhiscomputer I recommend an Expedition or an Suburban the floor is lower in the 3rd rows so your knees aren't in your face. I went on a road trip in a 2015 Tahoe and had to sit in the 3rd row and it was very uncomfortable. I have sat in a 2016 Suburban and the floor is lower compared to the Tahoe
Get rid of it immediately!! As long as it's not a 2015 GM SUV, you're okay. Never buy a GM product in its first model year; whether it's new or redesigned. If you ever want an ex police car, find a detective car, supervisor car, or a highway patrol car. Those cars weren't abused as much as a marked patrol car that everyone drives.
Ok I will put it up for sale tonight. You do realize what we bought was a 2017 ? This video was made 2 or 3 years ago ? And our Tahoe with the exception of a radiator and battery has been running flawlessly.

you do know the Tahoe is the smallest Suv made right now right? anything smaller, like the Ford explorer or whatever in the same smaller class are crossovers which have about the same space as the Jeep, not to mention, its his Tahoe really, she wanted to keep her car, he explained all of this in the video

These are very hard to find with low mileage unless you are buying 2-3 years old, and those are pricey.
Used car dealer here. I would recommend getting a loaded up LT/SLT vs paying for the LTZ/Denali package. It's an overpriced appearance package.

95,000 mine is a 2011 Z71 with 3 Kids and nothing but the cigarette lighter cover for he drivers side is missing but it’s all perfect other than that

Blue Tahoe was a Pos, would have gave you nothing but problems. New vehicle prices are completely insane nowadays it's sad.
