How are you maintaining the time? I do not see a separate RTC or coin cell battery. So am I right in understanding you make use of sim800c RTC? If so, how are you maintaining time drift and synchronisation?

At 06:05, I never liked that battery's because of the swelling. Why not make a small version using button cell type batteries like those in whaches?

You had used SIM39EA gps module in one of your product, while here you are using se868k. Which one is better and cheaper and also commonly available here…
Unfortunately both are not available easily. Prices have spiked. You will have better luck with L80 module, that is also Hard to Find

Module is fcc certified. No Indian certification. We are OEM. If customer who takes the license needs it, they can get licenses

Congratulations. Are you selling the PCB/BOM file of this project? My humble opinion is that it would have better potential for spy use. In that case, an hourly ping is too little. If you are tracking a car being stolen, or a person, the ping must be made by minute, or 5 minutes (maximum). That because the thief or object being tracked may go to a covered area (underground, metro, etc) and the GPS precision would be lost. In that scenario, from the last position known to the presently unprecise coordinate may render you completely out of the real position. There are good and cheap 1000mah bateries in china to sell. It would hold the situation.

checkout A9G from Ai-Thinker it's MCU+GSM+GNNS in single module also dirt cheap.
SIM800C costs Rs.170/- how much does A9G cost.

You could check SIM868E. Costs around 3.8 USD. Has all features plus BLUETOOTH 4 on it. AI doesn't have good support and presence in India like SIMCOM. So haven't used them in design.
What I'm trying to say is if you get A9g you don't need STM32 and sim808(gprs+GSM) as A9g has internal mcu with 4mb flash and ram. Also you can do Delta OTA.

What is rather ironic is having the ability to illegally use such a device to possibly track non threatening entities of only certain individuals whom are psychological wrong in ethical and moral decisions.
