I can confirm that Marcolmar is halfway through their kits. That’s from the owner a few months ago. It’s the other way around on the gen 2 as far as mags. Marcolmar opened up the mag well some (more likely to except L mags), made relief cuts on the bolt carrier to except a wider range of STANAG mags and they all now have the medium LV/S profile barrels (they once did offer a full length heavy barrel but discontinued that). Also they will be soon putting out another very limited batch (50+) of the LV/S. But this time with the proper Mueller SUSAT mount and another small change. But Marcolmar hasn’t officially announced that so I won’t spill the beans just yet. I will say I’m very proud of the fact I had a big influence on the other change and am extremely excited! Great video!

You are right, i should have said something more like Gen 2 accepts a wider selection of magazines. Gen 1 was limited in some ways; not just with Spanish steel. For me SA80 mags didn't go in easily for example.

I love my MCM CETME-L, but it has had only 120 rounds of 62gr Lake City green tip through it and has never made it through a full magazine without every other round mis-feeding. My typical failure is the bullet gets pushed back in the casing while trying to feed. I'm hoping it's still in the break-in period and will start running 100% because it shoots sooooo nice when it does feed.
