I really like that the mod gives the Bosses like an introduction Animation
Yes, True, I have actually been using that mod for 2 weeks now for 2 different modpacks and the problem I found though was because some mods like Fargo's and Calamity both rework bosses already it bugs the spawn animations so that your game is completely frozen, thankfully you can turn spawn animations off though. But yea, perfect mod when combined with the right mods, especially "Universe Of Swords Reborn"

All the different phaseblade/phasesaber colors have a different number of blades, I believe.
This mod makes the Katana amazing, has a cool double slice effect and you can also right click to dash through an enemy

you should also test out some of the weapons that come from the orbs in the evil biomes.
i've tried playing with this mod from scratch on expert, and i can say with 100% certainty that i can't stand it exclusively because you can kill yourself way too easily. it adds swimming underwater, but when i played it, if you're jumping you can hold W to do flips and stuff, but if you land on your head you'll die immediately. couldn't get past the life guardian what with a lack of hermes boots and the expert mode differences because every time i try to jump onto a platform, i'll fucking die mid-boss fight even at full health. the other stuff is cool, though. i was hoping it'd make magic weapons a little more fun to play with pre-hard mode

@@sowophlia i uninstalled the mod, but only afterwards and much later did i find out that there's a mod config menu in the pause screen lol, that would probably have the options in it

The meteor digger seems way too powerful for its point in the game
it only has 3000 health
On the other hand, heart guardian is fucking broken. You just can’t dodge his attacks, they are faster than you, and at this point you don’t have shield of cthulhu. I don’t think he’s beatable without the dash.
@@KajtekBeary just run with hermes boots and a fairly long platform and basic dodging skills, he ain't that hard, and if you STILL have problems, go and grab better armor and weapons (Light's bane is perfect against him)
@@stargost2338 tbh I've killed eye before him, and killed him using the shield. Killing the eye with base hp was hard, but still far easier for me. It's just velocity of bullets from this guy that's killing me tbh

Well, a mod that lets you upgrade a weapon, not like weapon enchantments, but like, enemies and bosses will drop weapon exp, the weapon will level up, and with each level the weapon will get 2 points, and we can craft an upgrading station, where we can increase stats of the weapon, these stats being:
Power: increase how much damage the weapon does.
Handling: increase the critical damage chance.
Dexterity: increase how fast the weapon attacks.
Some stats are unique for the class type, like:
Mana Mastery: decrease how much mana the weapon will spend.
Luck: increase chance not to consume ammo.
Every 1 point is 5% more on these, maybe nerf some, i guess.

I was just testing out and ot my surprise it's weapon effects are compatible with mods, even calamity but i dont know if its intentional or not

The copper shortsword staff has the same attack pattern as terraprisma
Try checking out originate mod, it deserves a review and i swear it is the most underrated mod that offers high quality content especially on weapon unqiueness

I feel like the Phaseblade is maybe a little op, considering that it is a pre-boss weapon and it can just shred enemies.

just saying to everyone who doesen't know how to summon the acorn spirit to summon it you have to V
talk to the hunter slime npc
go to the challenge gamemode option
pick the second mission (grassland center)
go all the way to the end where you see the exit or W sign and pass that moving all the way to the right of the screen
there you should be sent to a cemetery (careful you get burned so fire resistance is recomended)
TRY TO CHOP DOWN A TREE TO SUMMON IT YOU CANT ACTUALLY DESTROY THE TREE BUT YOU CAN ATTACK IT AND IT WILL SUMMON AFTER A WHILE

Heart guardian is completely broken. This boss needs a rework
He's fine, you just need to fight him with hermes boots and a fairly long platform, if you can't, use a light's bane (I personally think is one of the best weapons against him)

The way that these bosses look crazy but are early game as well just make them underwhelming in a sense. It just puts you in bullet hell before when they usually are its just the progression of how bossses fight is just outta wack with these guys. Unless they just made all bosses bullet hells? Which is cool as well. I like bullet hells

it is compatible with calamity but unfortunately I don't know if it works with thorium or not, though it should work because this mod is now only for 1.4 or higher now.

this mod has way too much bloom done really poorly. it doesn't look good, it just looks jarring and really ugly, like sombody just blurred out all the particle effects. also, those life and mana crystal bosses are quite literally the absolute worst bit of game design I have ever seen period. because early game mage with no mana AND being one/twoshot by every enemy and boss in expert/master because you can't increase your health to levels in which you can survive more than 10 seconds is the most fun thing imaginable right?

I feel like some of the stuff is just to much, the terra blade doesn’t even feel like terraria anymore and the bosses can be either impossible or the easiest thing in your life. It’s really imbalanced and some weapons might as well be a different category entirely. Though some weapons look great others just look so unnecessary. They need to make changes
