i replaced the stock lift kit shocks that Pro Comp made after 50000 miles! These are much better shock ride wise!
Bilstein makes some really great stuff! Super glad to hear you're happy with the new ride! -Zach
i have a jk with a front teraflex coil spacer 1 inch and i run 285/70/17. should i use 5100 or 4600?
I would like to find a softer riding shocks for my JK
Bought a 2.5” lift kit and netted around 3.5” of lift. Can I still run these?
You sure can! Your lift kit will settle over time as the springs break in. It will eventually be closer to the 2.5/3" range and lose that extra half inch or so. -Zach
is this working with teraflix 2.5” lift kit
Can you use these as a small lift on your vehicle if your jeep doesn't have a lift at all? Thanks
These shocks will not provide any sort of lift to your Jeep. I'd recommend looking into a small leveling kit if you're looking to raise your Jeep up a little bit. 😁 -Zach
which are better these or Old Man Emu 60067 Nitrocharger Sport Shock like the look of the yellow?
Are Those shock more tiff than fox, 2.0???
The ride quality between those two shocks are going to be pretty similar! Fox 2.0s in general are going to be softer for off-road application, going down fire trails and absorbing bounces from rough roads. Bilsteins are going to be firmer which will help you reduce body roll on-road, they will also be better at handling heavier loads if you plan on towing or carrying heavy loads with your Wrangler more often. Both are great options though! -Zach
Are these rebound adjustable?
Do they also replace factory default shocks 0 lift? For jeeps?
I think not 5100 series (B8), but 4xxx series (B6) do. Check it out, those yellow/blue
Do not get these! They’re so rough on the road!!! Looking to swap them out, I’ve had them for about 2 years and they were rough since day 1
Will these work on a jk with a teraflex levelling kit
works for me!
Majordonkie sweet thanks for the answer
Thank you both! Yes it should work fine. Let me know if you have any other questions in the install. -Brian
only...bla bla bla, not video instruccion.
Do you need instructions to remove 8 bolts?
Absolutely, when it comes to the issue on the passenger side of a JK where there is no room on the top of the shock due to the spacing between the battery tray
and the top of the shock which requires an allen wrench to properly tighten the top nut w/o removing the battery tray or cutting into the bottom of the tray to make the needed spacing ..
These shocks lasted 5 months on my jeep wj
They have lifetime warranty...
@@tchandler187 ima have to give em a call
@@joshmarauder Do it because that's bullshit
Doing what? Jumping from cliffs??
@@joncruz yea i jumped that mf everyday
Or I bottomed out my rough country shocks breaking and bending things.
