Feels like it's the summer of 2016 again, when accessibility for Komplete Kontrol was first announced and we entered into a new age of inclusive music making. I'm beyond excited that this journey now continues, and please NI, never stop.
This means a lot. Appreciate it!
I just got in post my new 128gb card .... and now this.... what a timing... ooo and I am a disabled audio video producer. In love with maschine again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Enjoy your Maschine!
Это настоящий подарок для незрячих Спасибо компании native Instruments
Oooh!🔥I work with digital accessibility at the Norwegian association of the blind and partially sighted, and get asked regularly about how to make music without sight. It's a lot of barriers! For starters, you can't just choose whatever DAW you want. There's 2-3 accessible ones, and that's your options. Forget that your friends are using Ableton or FL Studio; you can't. It's possible to make some DAWs sort of accessible by using scripts and pray that it don't break in the next update, but... yeah. Oh, so you want an audio interface now, huh? Let's hope that the software for controlling it, editing settings and assigning buttons is accessible then! The safest option here is to go for something without a software at all really. Same goes for MIDI keyboards and pad controllers. And I haven't even mentioned plug-ins yet, which is another mind field. Thankfully most plug-ins companies have demo versions, buuut are the downloader or companion app accessible? And what about the website? Are you allowed to buy the plug-in without sighted assistance? Sometimes (you lucky bastard!) and sometimes not. But the plug-in may work great tho, so if you want it bad enough you wait for a friend to come over and help you activate that trial license just to see if you can use it. See what I mean? It's a bit like having an old computer that you can't upgrade or replace. Ever.
It's great to see NI taking accessibility seriously and coming up with solutions to this challenge. If you're visually impaired and got discouraged by this comment; I'm sorry. The audio software landscape is hard to navigate as accessibility isn't something most companies talk about. Nope, not in the FAQ section either, sorry. That doesn't mean there isn't accessible tools out there. Do a Google search and you'll discover communities, podcasts and videos. Music is one of the art forms visually impaired people should be able to thrive in, and I'm glad NI and other companies are trying to make that a reality. It truly means a lot!
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback 🙏
We've needed something like this for a Really Long time THANK! YOU! ☺
THANK YOU ALL....What a WONDERFUL idea to do this!!!
Thank you for addressing this. As time goes by I am going to need this more and more.
NI, you guys are excellent! You make magik.
Very well thought out and inclusive
Cool video, I can't wait to try this with the Machine MK3 on the Pc. Well done Native instruments! Peace and God Bless, Driza.
fantastic and well presented tutorial from Brian :)
KK-Access
Great job native instruments. I am so happy you created this accessibility software to go with the maschine mk iii I actually went out and purchase the MK three after seeing this video. I also thank you for creating the instructions booklet as well as this video to show us how to use it. I hold native instruments, a cut above the rest of the competition because you did not leave it for us to have tools without the instructions to show us without having to pay someone for some type of expensive how to, master class.
Appreciate your kind words!
Hi there, quick question.
Do you know if the Komplete Kontrol keyboards can also activate and use the Accessibility app inside Maschine software?
Thanks, I hope making beats has been awesome.
Hello Grant no the software does not extend to the keyboard features of machine
@@beaglefrog1 Thanks so much for coming back to me. I was really hoping the Komplete keyboards could make Maschine software accessible, guess I need to get the Maschine MK3.
Hopefuly Komplete Kontrol can be opened as a plugin inside Maschine software, to still allow the Komplete Kontrol Accessibility features to give feedback.
Thanks again, have a good evening that side.but
What a wonderful initiative 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Waiting for Maschine MK 4 !!!!
Finally I'm understand and learn better Maschine software I use logic to compose Maschine
Very thoughtful. Much respect. 👏🏽
OK, now I know which one I should get them. Thank you so much for the info. 50:53
Great job, NI.
Awesome!!!❤❤
Great thank you
Nice!
Hi Brian, thank you for all the information you give and for being so clear in your directions! I'm trying to find a video on your channel where you talk about how to use the modulation wheel but can't seem to find any. Could you recommend one ? Or if you didn't talk about it yet, would you do a video on that? I have the Komplete Kontrol that has the digital wheel instead of the actual wheel and it's been a bit tricky to use. Thanks so much 😊
If only Stevie Wonder had these ground breaking musical innovations...
😂😂😂
I hope the people who need to know that the + and - keys are used for adjusting the size of the text can read the on screen text pop-up ^_^.
👌👌👌👌👌
Hi NI team, do users need to get the Maschine MK3, in order to get Accessability helper, or is it also available with the Maschine Mikro MK3?
Thanks in advance.
Here before the first 1000 views
IS THERE a tool to indicate true peak values?how mixing without meter who indicate the true peak value ?
Great news, hoping others follow NI's lead in accessibility! Does this accessible software work for the machine mikro as well or perhaps in a later update?
Hi! The Accessibility Helper doesn't work on Maschine Mikro at the moment, really sorry about that.
@@NativeInstruments That's a real shame, having accessiblity for entry level music products would be a great help to many. Do you have any plans to add support for the mikro and any known time frame? I know it all takes time and hard work and was soo pleased when the M32 NI keyboard got accessibility support. I went out and got one. I was hoping it would be the same for the Mikro but just have to be patient.
Many thanks, keep up the great work and looking forward to an accessible Traktor in the future!
We do have plans to add a support for Accessibility Helper tool on other devices as well, but we currently have no plans for Maschine Mikro support unfortunately.
👍🏻
Hi I'm totally blind and I just got the Komplete Kontrol M32 Keyboard. Is their anyway that I can get the accessibility helper since it came with maschine essentials? I don't want to have to buy the maschine mk3 hardware as I'm used to playinhg drums on the keyboard.
Thanks NI team.
What is recommended to do, when the Accessability Helper does not show up in the available list of applications to download, inside Native Access?
I updated to Native Access 2 and installed all new updates, but still no Accessibility Helper.
Your assistance will be highly appreciated.
Thank
Hi Grant, sorry to hear the Accessibility Helper is not available. Please get in touch with our support team directly so we can take a look for you: bit.ly/n1registr
58:11 a quick question with this also work for the micro MK three as well or just its big brother? Want to dive into this thank you so much and I don’t stop please.
Hey Larry, unfortunately the Accessibility Helper is not available for Maschine Mikro at the moment.
Hi, sorry for the ignorance coz im new in Maschine. But it is possible to connect the maschine mk3 to the maschine plus in standalone mode? so I can use the pads on both devices?. I know It works with m32 keyboard. Thanks
Hi Paulo, can you please get in touch with our Maschine support team with more details about what you'd like to achieve so we can assist? We're available via this form here: bit.ly/n1msc
Hi NI this accessibility features can be also work with komplete kontrol keybords?, While using maschine software?, that comes with KK keyboards...❤️ ..
Hi 💛 This new Accessibility Helper is available for only Maschine MK3 and Maschine+ at the moment. For existing accessibility features in our Komplete Kontrol keyboards, please check out this page here: bit.ly/40sJlHK
@@NativeInstruments ohh thanks NI! Keep doing grate work! ❤️❤️❤️
Is this video out of date? I’m not getting the results that this video says I should be getting. Has accessibility been broken?
Can anyone tell me, does the Mikro version have the same Accessibility as the standard MK3?
Hi Ashley, unfortunately the Accessibility Helper tool does not work with Maschine Mikro at this stage.
Everything looks fine for me, however, I’ve got a question
Firstly, to make it more unlimited
How we can load our own samples to use it with machine
From the accessibility perspective
And the second question
Is it possible for your company to think about solution in the future to make machine Plus also accessible somehow with speech synthesiser, so it can be used as a standalone device without computer.
Hi, the Accessibility Helper works on Maschine+ as well! Our support will be happy to guide you through all the steps to load your own samples. Feel free to get in touch with us here: bit.ly/n1msc
@@NativeInstruments thank you for your response
But what I mean is that think that mashine plus is able to work independently without computer
So my question is:
Does the accessibility helper also working in that product so we don’t need to use computer?
The Accessibility Helper tool works with Maschine+ in a controller Mode, so a computer is required in this case.
51:01 hello I have a question, and this is something that I’ve been trying to get answered for the longest time are use reaper for the time being I know that in Native Instruments is heavily integrated with logic. I have logic, but I need to get a brand new Mac so that’s not working well at this time I am using reaper and I’m able to do some stuff in reaper, but is there a way to fully integrate my complete control keyboard with reaper such as transport controls etc. etc. as I stated. sorry about this if this is a little nonsensical, I have been able to use my complete control keyboard with reaper. I am able to record however, I have to use the keyboard for certain functions. Is there a bridge or anything that you could suggest me download or something that could further fully integrate my complete control keyboard with reaper, I hope this makes sense
Hi! Our keyboards are not fully integrated with Reaper at the moment. However, feel free to drop your question in our online community - we've got a lot of product experts there who are always happy to help: bit.ly/ni-community
Hey there I’m thinking about getting this but I know this is not the probably the correct video to make a comment on this but it’s still kind of deals with machine, so I’m thinking about getting the complete control S 49 would it still have the same machine accessibility or what I need the machine MK three 50:55
Hi! Our new Accessibility Helper only works with Maschine MK3 at the moment. However, the Komplete Kontrol S49 keyboard already has accessibility features. You can learn more about that in this video here: bit.ly/42jKnXA
Is native instruments coming out with a Maschine studio 2 or a mk4?
Does it work with Maschine Micro too?
Hi, unfortunately the Accessibility Helper tool does not work with Maschine Mikro at the moment.
@@NativeInstruments what about Maschine studio 2? Are we going to get one?
Hi, Maschine Studio has been discontinued so there won't be Maschine studio 2, sorry about that!
@@NativeInstruments there is a market for it tho. The Maschine studio users would like to have that in the future
Cual es el precio native Instruments de MASCHINE MK3
Best to check our website to see the price in your currency: bit.ly/41QBqF6 🤘
-I didn't got the Accessibility Helper?
Hi Daniel, can we double-check if you own Maschine MK3 or Maschine+?
Why don't you do anything with Maschine Studio? Ever since newer controllers got released seems like NI stopped giving a crap about Maschine Studio! This controller has so much potential. So many buttons are still not used. The whole scroll wheel area has so much more to offer other than what it already has.
Hey, appreciate your love and support for Maschine Studio here. 🙏 Unfortunate it has been discontinued. We hope you'll get a chance to try our newer models!
I don't understand what's différent with this New feature , everything look the same for me me exept this annoying robot voice 🤔
Can someone explain me what's is the New feature please ?
it means a lot to other groups of people who depend on that feature .
Glad you asked. The "annoying robot voice" helps blind people navigate the maschine interface by reading it out loud for us. This means that lots of new users will be able to make music and enjoy Maschine. See my other comment for more details/info.
You can learn more about the new features and how they were developed with the help of the visually impaired producer community in this blog article here: bit.ly/3Lf3OLI
@@ChristianThon ok nice then ;)
Good job NI
Hope you will enjoy this feature
Gimme us a new kontrol keyboard please 😢
This is pretty cool, but native instruments seems pretty proud of their half accessible products. Would be nice if they made them completely accessible, instead of patting their selves on the back because they have partial accessibility.
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS PLEASE TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT THE MASCHINE DOES NOT WORK WITH PC
Ok, but dont forger to insert a visual GAIN REDUCTION on the Dinamics and improve the arrangement... WE dont need a 1 click start clip!! WE want select thé clip with 1 click!
ON my Maschine\PC: Why is the AI speaking like she would be German and learned English a few weeks ago ? 😂😂😂 How to change the voice\speaker ? Yours sound much better. 😃
in french please
RETURN ABSYNTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE IT'S BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVORITE SYNTHS
Funktion ist bei mir nicht vorhanden ich verstehe nicht wie native Instrument so ein Scheiß machen kann, ist einfach zum kotzen ....
On the cool, this app is actually annoying. It really serves no purpose
Hey, if you haven't already, you can learn more about the purpose of our Accessibility Helper app here: bit.ly/3mXcm0j
Hello, just because you don't care about accessibility doesn't mean it's useless.
Thanks to this, blind users can now enjoy the features of Maschine.
