It would've been kinda neat if in Dedede Tour, Kirby was the one Taranza kidnapped and she sent him against you, maybe in Hypernova form. But I guess Kirby still sort of appears as a boss in Kirby Fighters.
In Kirby Fighters, you play as Kirby, and the final boss is Shadow Kirby, the Mirror World's Kirby. Shadow Kirby was introduced in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.
I think Dededetour was more meant to be a canon tie up to the mirror story. The pause screen description supports it happens a while after Kirby's story.
Too much hammer cheese for my eyes... I see this so much. it looks much cooler (and I'd dare say it'll probably be more fulfilling) if you just dodge and learn where the enemy should end up and just hammer flip for massive damage, rather than doing hammer down/whirl/whatever that move is and hoping you don't come out of I-frames/enemy ends hitstun at a bad time... but to each their own I guess.

You know, Dedede tour and Meta knight are Returns kinda did justice for these two. Think about it, Dedede wasn’t in Amazing Mirror (heck we didn’t even get a mirror world counterpart like wiz or Golem King) and Meta Knight (debuting in Adventure) wasn’t in Dreamland 2 or Triple deluxe (give DL2 some credit, Meta knight wouldn’t get his tough warrior stance until super star) but regardless both dedede’s final boss and meta knight’s third-to-last and 2nd-to-last bosses in both modes give us fights that should have happened to begin with. That not saying Amazing mirror and Dreamland 2 are bad by any chance. Also thanks for reading, I know this was long.

Think about it, Dedede wasn’t in Amazing Mirror (heck we didn’t even get a mirror world counterpart like wiz or Golem King) and Meta Knight (debuting in Adventure) wasn’t in Dreamland 2 or Triple deluxe (give DL2 some credit, Meta knight wouldn’t get his tough warrior stance until super star) but regardless both dedede’s final boss and meta knight’s third-to-last and 2nd-to-last bosses in both modes give us fights that should have happened to begin with. That not saying Amazing mirror and Dreamland 2 are bad by any chance. Also thanks for reading, I know this was long.

The way you didn't even try to dodge and awfully spliced in a new part of Shadow Dedede (presumably you died and didn't want to show it) is absolutely Dededesgusting
Everytime i see baddies using things like Dedede's down attack with invinc instead of trying to dodge, half they time they still get hit. I don't think it's Kirby games made for "kids" it's just people are bad at videogames now.
