What a great song and album. You do a great job covering it. One of my favorite albums-- catchy songs with incredible guitar work. I love going to sleep with this album playing in my headphones. I'll close my eyes and imagine I'm on stage playing these songs with Zakk. Like he would need me (or anyone) to back him up!
This album has such a huge guitar tone. I think whenever someone dials in a new guitar amp-- this boosted JCM 800 tone is exactly what they try to achieve. I boost the heck out of my Rectifier's mids, just to try getting closer to this tone. This is the tone we all want.
    Great job-- you nailed it!

Excellent work Euge! I am enjoying your series on the No More Tears album. You have a killer tone, man! You also make the playing look easy, but I know it's not.
I want to cover a couple of songs from this amazing album (to the best of my ability at least). Do you think I would be able to get reasonably close to Zakk's tone using a stock Marshall SC20H with an SD-1 out front? I will also be using a Mesa 2x12 Rectifier (horizontal) cab with V30's. Thanks! 👍🤘

You know what I noticed about this song? The pre-verse after the intro with the pinch harmonics is damn near impossible for me to play accurately without a metronome or backing track. I can play a million other songs without a click that you'd think would be a lot harder than this one but no. For some reason that particular part which is a song I've know for at least 15 years by heart, I struggle with. Unless I have a click. Then it's cake. Why is that particular riff so hard for me to play without a metronome?
