Oh my God! Never before since Garland performed and recorded, "The Man That Got Away," in a single take has any musical performance been so perfectly executed as this stand-out performance. This song is harder to sing than, "What's New Pussycat?" and the singer just knocks it completely out of the ballpark! The band and its musical arrangement, the mind-blowingly talented trio of these spirited dancers---and let not a single person reading this overlook the exquisite period-choreography devised by this talented choreographer with the light, comedic flair so perfect for this piece---makes even glittering diamonds dull in comparison. God, how I wish I could blow up a single frame of this gem, wall paper my bedroom with it and have these gorgeous sounds blasting on repeat 24/7. At least now I know what song my Will will demand be played during my funeral!---Stop your sobbing, stow your hankies and joyously dance, dammit! 😉

Jonathan Gomez Control is the word. Wow. I mean. Not saying Haley Reinhart is overrated, but this lady here has an incredible range, and is not overdoing EVERYTHING. Beautiful, and on an otherwise fairly unmelodic original song (at least lead-vocally speaking).

Haley Reinhart sings in the vocal style of Billie Holiday. This girl sings in a more contemporary , yet still classic, style.

Some of them you look at the people there and they're just playing their parts...
But we ALWAYS end up coming back to this video not only because we love this version of it... but because EVERYONE in the video looks like they're having SOOOO Much Fun!
Smiles all around, everyone seems almost near giggling and are just crushing it and having fun!
We're sure there's a degree of that that's staged but this video is one of the ones where they're REALLY selling it!

This was a joy to watch and hear. These people had a blast doing this, and it shows. The dancers were perfectly in character, perfectly choreographed, and Aubrey tore this one up. I was caught between awe and giggling like a kid. I hope this song is on the tour, because I'll be going to the Baton Rouge show!

Roy you can make comparisons with the most famous world stars singing real live and you will find out, nothing is really perfect like a studio recording. So regarding the degree of difficulty IMHO this song of Aubrey is really great!
This is so amazing. Scott and Aubrey have deconstructed and reconstructed the RHCP racer into a mini-opera. Amazing singing, amazing dancers (especially dark-haired beauty Vanessa Nichole; it's so much fun to watch her face), amazing everything. Love every note and every movement.
This is so wonderfully done. I love the flute, the girls, the trombone, I just can't imagine how they could have done a better job on this.

The original version was pretty good. This version is SOOO much more fun and wildly creative. PMJ is now one of my favorite groups, and they know how to feature some awesome vocal talents.
I'm stuck at home during the Covid-19 Virus pandemic of 2020, and I've discovered watching PMJ videos on RUclips is a great way to spend time. The music is great, and the girls in this video are hypnotizing lol.

All I can say is WOW!!! I haven't heard a voice with a range like that in years. The power and control was amazing. Need to hear more from her.
Every single time PMJ blows me away. The brilliant arrangements by Scott Bradlee are amazing in their own right, but in the end it's all in the delivery. And PMJ never fails there either. The talent they put together to sing the songs are just mindblowing. Each and everyone of the artists (singers, musicians, dancers) are all top notch. They're great singers/musicians/dancers, but also have a great feeling for the act itself. It's not only very pleasing to the ear, but also to the eye. It's not hard putting a nice looking singer in the video and get a lot of attention, but when he or she can sing really, really good as well, it's jackpot. I watch this channel very often, and I'm never disappointed.
This arrangement is one of the more creative ones and very well executed. It's right up there with 'Sweet child of mine' with Miche Braden. Great interpretation!
Creative fun everybody performed beautifully and the vocal control is damn impressive. Bravo to all once again, well done.
I read a comment on a PMJ video from a while back where someone was saying that PMJ had lost their identity since Robyn stopped being their default singer and that she was best for the majority of their songs. I couldn't disagree more. Having a range of incredible singers with totally different styles and voices has allowed them to put out an amazingly diverse repertoire of covers. Robyn has a great voice but I love the incredible diversity their songs have now.

Given the diversity of their singers, I'd like to see PMJ work with a song writer to do originals tailored to the strengths of each singer.

this is my absolutely favourite music video in the whole youtube, to be honest! the cover is truly magical - the "Austin Powers 60's" style goes really good with this song, and now I kinda like it even more than the original version (which I love too). Aubrey is unbelievably talented, her voice is unique and it feels like it was made for singing in this style (i know it's not true, because she could sing in any style and it would be gorgeous)! dance reminded me of dance scenes from Bob Fosse's "Sweet Charity" and I think i can watch it forever again and again.
