55:33 very vanilla, far from the most OP combination, but Reprogram on any other character would be powerful. Upgraded gives +2 STR + DEX for 1 energy in the form of a skill that doesn't exhaust.

Does anyone know why he didnt grab Meteor Strike for act2 boss? He said "we DONT want an orb slot" but it seemed like a crazy good pick there (He has the mod that gives an orb slot if you play an orb card offclass)
At the shop a couple minutes later he explains that it’s because it would mean chat would constantly ask where the slot came from for the rest of the run

On playstation I had an upgraded foreign influence, at it game me Defects Lightning Strike. And when I played it a speech bubble appeared "I don't have any orb slots". Is it possible that the orb slot only comes when you start a combat with an orb generating card (so basically only via prismatic shard or that one low ascension event)? Or is it a "version issue" between PS AND PC?
If you were playing it would be. In this case it has to do with what they were chatting about - specifically Balor bans himself from taking foreign influence cards that give orbs. The reason is because of a bug with one of the mods he uses that causes foreign influence to actually give an orb slot. This not only confuses viewers, but also is a real mechanical advantage granted by a mod instead of simply informational.
Its because of spire and shield as well as increased visual clutter most likely. Spire and Shield will debuff by lower focus instead of its normal debuff which makes the fight easier.
No the orb slot will then be there for the rest of the game. It’s actually a good thing as the other commenter said as the shield will debuff your focus rather than strength if you have an orb slot. Baalor just doesn’t want it because it’s confusing to viewers and he will get a million questions about it
