Joel. Keep a rain poncho on the tractor. It really.helps keep you dry because you ysually wont get caught in the rain if you gave it but you WILL get caught in the rain if you dont. 😊 I tried to keep one in the house and one in the barn but if i forgot to return one guess where i was when it started raining. 😂
A hay barn series of "once-a-week" videos would be wonderful, but however you decide will be absolutely perfect!!! Also, what a delightful surprise the blooper section was....more please!!
Joel, Just a suggestion for the "Driveway" along side the barn that drives us all nuts. Did a trench left to right and put a grate over top to collect the water. Then have either pipes/tubes direct the water where you want it. If so desired, did a trench top to bottom with grating over it as well. It should help collect the water and direct it where you want it....AWAY from the barn. Just some thoughts. Great video! Hope Mom D and Dad J are had a great vacation. They earned it. Give Leia pets for me. See you in the next one.
When installing small wheel bearings use channel locks to snug the nut. Rotate the hub about 10 to 20 times. Recheck tightness, the back off the nut one slot. Install cotter pin. Using a wrench you will overtighten the bearings causing premature wear.
You may have received even more rain than was in your rain gauge depending on how the wind was blowing. The shrub/plant next to it could have blocked the water from going in. As for the build videos you could always do both cover what you do daily but at the end do a compilation video.
I love the new way your videos begin. I think it gave your videos a new mystery. Thanks for showing us the countryside. It's beautiful up there. I look forward to your videos and always make time to watch. As the others have said below, I am looking forward to the progress of the new barn. But please do it the way that works best for you. I promise I won't miss out anyway you go. Your days are long and tiring. Beautiful horses and I love seeing them. Thanks for letting us hear the crunching. I never knew they made that sound when eating. Keep up the good work, Joel. It's 105 at my house in Texas today and I understand it will be well into September before we get a break. You need a good wide brim hat that also covers your neck and ears. Skin cancer can be avoided with a good hat plus the sunscreen you wear. Also wanted to say Hi to Gavin. It was good to see him again.
Joel, we love watching your videos all the time. Your horses are awesome. We stopped by there in May to visit and really enjoyed it. Take care…Tony and Emmy from California.
I would enjoy it if you do the hay barn videos as they come out. maybe create a playlist of the hay barn build videos so that if someone is new they can go back and watch the whole process.
In your intro when you said, "I'm Joel and this is a..." I was waiting for you to say "this is a horse" since you were pointing at a horse by the door.
People would ask me what I did for New Years or 4th of July. I would say, "I'm in my basement with my dogs cause they are scared!" I tried those tight thunder shirt that helped. CBD worked the best. Now my dog is deaf, so not bothered at all.
LOVE ❤❤ seeing the horses and donkeys and hearing how they’re all doing😊😊. Very interesting tires on the chopper🧐. It’s great to see you working with Daniel and him teaching you. Ya all are awesome 😎. Poor Leia, hope the storm did upset her too much. Glad you finally got much needed rain, wish it didn’t come all at once! 💦💦
The family giggles at the end was priceless 😂😂😂😂😂 Joel so spoilt for choice regarding the barn build any chance of both as being with you as the build progresses AND a series at the end showing the end result ( great for winter viewing ) would be AWESOME sorry to be greedy but so looking to forward to seeing all of it ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
6:54 The backside of that green piece of equipment behind you that I can’t remember the name of at the moment totally looks like a face. And it’s watching you work and being really judgey. Lol
I’d love to see the hay barn as it’s being built brother thanks for the videos keep up the great work can’t wait until the next one god bless you and the rest of the family 🤙🤙
I'm a long time Subscriber, found You through the Veggie Boys. Long time Subscriber as Well. Had to watch this STABLE LIFE Video twice! Pete, is the Greatest
Videos as you go sounds perfect! I've learned so much from your videos. I grew up with a horse pasture backing up to my backyard. I loved watching the horses but I've never known much about them. I would love a video that shows how to look at their body language and know how they are feeling. Keep up the great work!
I would to see all of the new barn build. As it is happening would be amazing, but if doing a Timelapse at the end is easier then do it that way:) I love watching your content!
Your content is very enjoyable to view. Thank you for letting us see and get acquainted with all the beautiful horses that have the privilege of being stabled at Sunny Knolls. And I really enjoy the questions and answers at the end of the video. They help us to learn more, like about the topography of your area and why you have multiple small hay farms that you work. I'd enjoy seeing the bard as it is built but not at the loss of seeing the horses too!
Great video! I would like to see the build as it’s happening cause I’m so excited about it. But at the end or after I think you should do a separate build video on it’s own. More videos means more views and more blessings for The Stable Life.
Hi joel,,,great video,,,love the way you are starting them,,like a prolog of what's commi g,,,and construction videos as the work is being done...can't 2ait to watch it. See you in the next o e. Wayne and pat
You guys are so fun and the care you have for each other and the animals is awesome. I would like to see the barn videos, as it happens…but don’t forget to show us everything else.😝👍👏
I worked at the ‘Torrington Company’ one summer, inspecting bearings in a ‘magna flux’ bath. Oil and steel shavings. I looked for seams after the bearing was magnetized.
Great video Joel. Glad you got the rotary chopper fixed! And last week was quite rainy that’s for sure! I say make the hay barn a series! And why not ! That way it is explained and you won’t miss any of the daily stable life lol! Take care!😊
Equipment getting washed for free by the rain
Hay barn videos as you go, please. I know for myself I've been anxiously awaiting for y'all to start building. Please dont keep us in suspense!! 😊
Why do you not bead your horses your must smell like pee
I'd love to see the hay barn as it's being built, but you gotta do what works best for you, Joel. Just don't make us wait until the end, please!! 😊❤

As you work on the barn.
Joel. Keep a rain poncho on the tractor.

I would love the barn videos as soon as you make them!

I do admire your skill in machine maintenance. Great to have cousins who can help out too.

All of those points are exactly correct. Thank you for posting!
I love to listen to the sound of the rain. It's beautiful.
You may have received even more rain than was in your rain gauge depending on how the wind was blowing. The shrub/plant next to it could have blocked the water from going in. As for the build videos you could always do both cover what you do daily but at the end do a compilation video.
Make the hay barn videos the way that suits you best. Your time will be limited. We are happy with everything you do

Personally I would like the videos to come as they are recorded. That being said however you manage to get them out is fine.

Who knew matt had such an angelic voice 😆
Not sure how the work gets done with so many comedians in the family. Love it.
Angelic indeed! Please Matt, more melodies -- maybe out in the field to get your brothers and Pop Pop all doing a sing-along. :-)

Great job answering tough questions!
Hey videos: put them out piecemeal. As you do them.
Then afterward put them all together like three or four hours people fall asleep watching them.
Thanks for answering my question. Here in flatland Ohio we do not have those things to consider.
Calli needs the book Little Black, I read that book over and over as a child.
Videos as you make them.
My Service Dog, Hates Fireworks & Thunder Stormes. How many Dog Owner 's can relate?
Great video Joel. Glad you got the rotary chopper fixed! And last week was quite rainy that’s for sure! I say make the hay barn a series! And why not ! That way it is explained and you won’t miss any of the daily stable life lol! Take care!😊

New building always exciting a bit with regular videos good for me best wishes from cold wet South Africa 😊
You might consider putting in drainage pipe in some of those areas , would not solve all the problems but would help a lot !
Maybe could you use some of the rocks from the field- make a drainage and fill with rocks
More videos as you are doing the work! Love your project videos!
First way you said about the barn
Your angel led you to the bag. Angel means messenger
release as your working
one a week great show thanks
Hay barn daily please. It works better for RUclips. Thanks for the rainy video 👍
I think one barn video a week.
Do the horses like the rain?? 😀😀
Maybe us viewers could help with a barn raising! 😊
Hello again Joel - qick question, does the rain coming this heavy spook the beauties? Or are they like all of us like to play in the rain?😁🇨🇦🐎
