Thanks for the tip. But most of my heli setup went this way. these new Flight controllers do the rest for us. and that is why they ask for center pitches to be 0 and rest end points (Min max travel)

The video i was waiting for! Need also the bluetooth app video... fisically setting by buttons is hardcore like 3D :P Also do not forget on how to setting the autolevel, the only setting i leave on on any rc heli! I am not into 3D stuff, just scale flight is enough for me! Thanks! I din't see on video on how to activate the autolevel...just clicking one stick, but what config. Also another question, does it autolevel or just have attitude mode? I mean bank limit to 45º, but no autolevel? I don't quiet understand if it have autolevel or just attitude (45º bank) limit...let me know!
Channel 5 set to 3 position switch will change from Normal mode (Auto level, banking limited, like a 6G mode for beginners) to idle up 1 and 2 (for 3D, you can set two different pitch curves and throttle curves for your choice). so just follow what shown in this video. For Bluetooth app is best to use after you have done the first setup manually. there is no messing it up this way. bluetooth can easily mess up the settings via android app if person does not know what to do. have fun
I think the yellow wire from the esc should go to the signal in the rpm port of the flight controller. Nice video.

Really interesting to see the heli setup process again after a few years away. Will the FC work with an ExpressLRS PWM receiver?
It should work with sbus only

Hi Ali great video tutorial as usual. I just bought and built a OMP M4 and was curious if the GTS+ controller will work with it ? if not, what controller would you suggest would be best suited for the M4 ?

@@Fredhobby not the same buddy, minus the washout arms that provide extra stability for 3D Flights. However I have seen and smackdown DFC heads even properly so its all upto the algorithms and programming of the flight controller. GooSky Confirmed that you can't use GTS flight controller with DFC Heads

it should. as long as they are sbus (protocol from Spektrum)

I watched your vid on the s2 and I'm confused you set pitch and throttle curves in your radio.
From what I understand every thing is already set in the flight controller all you need do do in the radio is assign switches to channel 5-6-7 Why do you set curves in the radio and assign values to switches?
Throttle curves need to be set to control head rotor RPM, Pitch Curves just need to set normal pitch curve. rest is left default for linear.
Do you perhaps know if the FC with the latest firmware will work with digital 1520us tail servos?
I bought the FC to use on my Logo 400 but I've discovered the FC only seems to support narrowband 760us servos, and I'm hoping to find a workaround.
If that's the case does the TX16S support the narrowband range?

hey i had a question about idle up, when i go to switch into idle 1 or 2 i don’t hear the rpm of the motors pick up faster but yet i have negative collective, is there anything i can do to fix this? i have a futaba t6k and thank you for your time, it’s a little frustrating cause im a beginner and have no idea what i’m doing, i do have the rs4 venom coming in from pre order but ima build it and i’m just confused as to why my idle up doesn’t engage for my s1 and s2 as well when i switch into idle up
Thanks for comment, but its difficult to say anything without watching your complete setup. maybe you have made mistakes in setup. you should do a detailed video of your problem and post it here: facebook.com/groups/gpshelicopters
you can get more ideas there too and i maybe able to help. its definitely settings issue
@@alishanmao sounds good thank you ali, i’d love to learn more about these curves and parameters but the radio set up has been a hurdle for me and i don’t wanna get discouraged from not learning properly or wasting money and crashing an expensive heli
Did you notice the "dead band" on cyclic?
none so far. mine is pretty responsive on cyclic. just the way i want :)

Dear Ali, when will you make a video on the GOOSKY RS7 helicopter?
unfortunately i have asked GooSky Many times but they do not reply nor wanna send RS7 to me. when they were just starting and no one was paying attention, they came to me for help. i helped them promote their brand, promote their helicopters and now that they are selling well and business is good, they just ignore my requests and completely forgot who helped them when they were in need. Sad to say but i do not think i will get a sample. 11:00 if the forward servo which is the elevator servo, what if it was in the back would this Goosky GTS gyro, would it still work?
I wonder if the Goosky gyro can work with other helicopters other than Goosky heli

@@alishanmao Ok I will go dig into the settings again. There is one option that say forward servo, but this servo is in the back, of the ALZRC R42
Alisanhanmou im a little bit confusion help me please when the best time put on servos arm horn is that power the heli power the radio and than put throttle stik on the middle on idle up mod how this work thank u
Normally we used to do that before. that we put arms only after we power on first time and center the servos. its best practice and safe. but nowadays these digital servos have no limits, like you can keep on turning their arms in circle (360) so you can just leave the servo horns on, and let the flight controller set the center point. after that you can adjust the arms angles and swash leveling.

Is it possible to mount the GTS in the opposite direction where the wires exit from the tail end, and if so would you possibly know how the gyro can be changed on the FC?
I believe there is no such option for now
were you able to figure this out? i’m i’building an rs4 and tried a maiden today for both directions and still get the over correction
i was even told by CS that you can mount in the opposite direction tail end with wires out
@@_lark Unfortunately I didn't, but have moved over to using Rotorflight.
@@blooskyy7 i figured it out today and followed the manual instead of everyone’s videos and cs, i faced it back with the wires in towards the nose end of the fuselage and re-wired everything and seems that i had incorrect wiring into the FC. because there’s still no option to reverse the gyro at all, it was definitely my shotty wiring placement nothing else, i didn’t have to reverse anything neither or change to a different protocol, frustration has been tempting me to switch from futaba to something simpler

Hello, where should I connect the yellow wire from the ESC? My engine won't start.

you can leave the yellow wire un connected.

When I tilt my heli to the left, the GTS gyro also tilts to the left, and when it tilt the heli to the right the gyro tilts to the right. How do I fix the correction orientation? I have the gyro mounted right side up with the wires facing to the front as shown in the manual. I am using a Spektrum DX9 transmitter. Please advise.
you can use bluetooth and APP and fix the direction of gyro, do not fly in this state, it will crash on ground
Hi turns out I had to get a different firmware from Goosky support. And yes I crashed on take off initially because I didn't notice the fbl wasn't making the opposite movement corrections, an error I will never make again! @@alishanmao
@@LichaelMewis sorry to hear that, on setting a new FC always double tripple check by lifting the heli if FBL is correctly moving to counter the roll, pitch movements, or else of course its a crash on ground
