Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy this combo iron farm, trading hall and zombie curing! Been using it on Truly Bedrock for a while now, and it's working great!! :D
Do you have any problems with mob despawning?
Tip: Create a Fletcher Villager that will trade for the Arrow of Weakness.

You should also add water in the villager cells so villagers don't interchange their workstations.
That's kinda amazing
I know people say this kinda thing all the time but seriously, I layer down an X in preparation to make your last Iron farm model and was planning to build it with a trading hall tonight. Your timing is ridiculous. Thanks again for all you do. May the holy algorithm bless you with success to come.

Thanks for doing something specific to Bedrock! I'm new to minecraft and was getting confused with all the java info out there. This works amazing too! Some things I did a little different and learned in making it:
I faced all my villagers inward so they are safe.
I put all the beds inside on the floor around the kill chamber and it works fine and I didn't have to put the top villager in (I still made sure there were 20 villagers though).
I tamed and leashed 4 cats and now I don't get cats spawning at all in it.
At first mine kept spawning the golems outside on the ground and I couldn't figure it out. Then I learned about village centers (which would be based off where the beds are), I realized the village center for mine was close to one wall and that had made their spawn area off centered from the farm. Once I picked up and replaced the beds as close to the center as possible that fixed it.
If you have to move the beds at all and your villagers are all locked into their trades already, when you pick up the beds they unlink from their stations. When you place the beds back down, they don't always link back to the station in front of them. If they don't, and are already in their trading cubbies that means they won't be able to work and therefore won't spawn golems. You then have to pick up all the workstations and match them back up with the right owner, then it will work again.
You can build it next to a village (I did because I didn't realize it could mess it up at first) but you just have to go through the village and empty it of other villagers, workstations, beds, and bells. Then it's no longer a village and the farm will work. At least mine did!
I added another 10 villagers and beds and now I will sometimes get 3 golems spawning at once.
Thanks again for a really well explained tutorial! You are now my go to person for beginner farms and tutorials since I know that it will all work in bedrock!!!
Indeed I also faced the problem with the mixture of Java and Bedrock when I started watching tutorials
Thank you so much for this fr
@@ozgamerab8780 same here, although i am kind of new to java aswell, but my daugher now has a switch and want to have a shared world. Tried Wattles iron farm, but the zombie kept despawning, and couldnt get him to pick anything up.
@@j1mggsounds like u just needed a new zombie, some dont seem to pick up items
So you did 30 total villagers?
I built this in my survival world (1.18), and was finding it impossible to complete villager linking to beds or workstations. Villagers kept linking to stations >100 blocks away and villagers from my breeder (also >100 blocks away) kept linking to the workstations I placed in the farm. After much troubleshooting, I realized my simulation distance was set to 8 CHUNKS. I didn’t realize that villager linking distance was affected by the simulation distance. After setting to 4 chunks, the linking worked perfectly.
I only bring this up because I didn’t see it mentioned in any other comments or in the video that is linked in the description for troubleshooting iron farms. It was a simple but devilish thing to find.
Great farm! As always, love the simplicity, versatility, and design. I built a medieval Japanese-style wall with guard towers around it and it looks very intimidating 😆.
Thanks for helping people out! Appreciate it!🙂
Thanks for the advice! Thinking about making in my survival world. Are you getting a lot of Iron from this?
@@grantgodbee7595 Yes, more than I know what to do with! I built an auto-sorter to separate the iron, string, and poppies, and I filled a double-chest full of iron in less than one overnight afk session. As long as I keep my simulation distance on 4 chunks this farm works consistently well. Hope you like it too!

in ur build, how many villagers do you have including the bottom villagers and the one on top?
@@kata5398 I have 23 villagers. 6 in front and 8 on 2 sides. I don't have any in the back. Plus the one up top.
My zombie is not hitting the villagers
@Vinsmoke Sanji Either leave the area a few hundred blocks, so the zombie refocuse on the villager infront of it. Or you can enter the Nether for a little bit and return. Or exit the game and log back in. If nothing changes just get a new zombie, try not to hit it so it'll focus on the villagers.
This is the first time an iron farm has actually worked for me, you don’t know how hyped I was when I heard the golem damage sound. After actual years of failing to ever get golems to spawn, this was definitely a win for me.

@@silentwisperer such a great design…I did a 30 villager trading hall for farming emerald trades and then I made another one with 20 librarians..working on leveling that up and building a third hall

@@brobeast4441 I set up all 30 beds on top first then transported the villagers in 5 at a time, making sure I assign each 5 work stations before bringing in the next 5…the golems started spawning before I had all 30 of them inside. Probably when I got to 20 of them….
Edit: so 31 villagers total. Including the guy on top, who I put first first and assigned a work station to so he doesn’t interfere with the others work stations. also make sure to have a bed for that guy too…so if you have a 20 villager hall plus him 21 beds up top….30 villager hall plus him 31 beds up top

My second time building this and still working flawlessly. My only thing is not really being able to organize the villagers easily but of course thats due to villager mechanics rather than the design. Thanks again

Is it entirely covered over? I built mine in a sweet cave, but the golems aren’t spawning so I’m wondering if it’s because it’s “roofed” instead of open air above 🤔

@@silentwisperer my villagers won't connect to the beds, would you know what the problem is? I'll do some experimenting with it if/until you reply.
@@JPmax4ever you may need a villager as a bed detector. Any villager, including nitwits, needs to be within a 16×3×16 range of a bed so the other villagers will recognize the other beds as the village core. Make sure to include enough beds for all of them or the iron farm won't work at all.
When joining a village, villagers need to be within 3 blocks vertically of beds or workstations to link. A bed detector increases this vertical range to 30-ish blocks. Village center is a pillow. Golem spawning keeps the 16×6×16 range centered on that pillow.
Just some advice from the problem I ran into was don’t make the spawning floor glass just to fit the build style, they cannot spawn iron golems on top of glass blocks hope this helps for others who make this mistake too
Thank you so much
Okay tip for anyone who doesn’t have ANY IRON GOLEMS SPAWNING is make sure the correct work station is right in front of the villager assigned to it
I just added this farm to a realm that I play with my partner, and we are LOVING it. Thank you so much!
Edit: the XP from trading is a considerable and underrepresented perk to the farm/trading hall.
yeah but its a lot easier to just smelt a few items and get 100s of levels instead of trading for levels

Plus once you cure enough of them, you can get enchanted diamond armor from armorers for one emerald and enchanted tools and weapons from tool smiths and weapon smiths for one emerald and for all three of them, you can trade just one iron for an emerald and since you have limitless iron, that means limitless enchanted diamond armor, weapons, and tools

Thank you so much! This design was super simple to set up, and gave me more iron that I knew what to do with.
Heyy silent! I built your farm today and it works great! I was wondering if you could make a tutorial about the best gold farm for bedrock... love ur vids keep up the good work
This is super awesome! Thank you! I love all your builds and the way you make videos. ❤️
Very nice! Saw golems spawn in as my ninth villager arrived in his cell (not including the guy at the top who arrived first). I locked in a good trade as soon as each villager arrived and placed all the beds beforehand.
If you would like to expand this farm you can add an auto villagers farm under the iron farm and they will farm carrots and potatoes. Since they also use their work station then the iron farm still works. I also added other auto farms to the corners like watermelon, pumpkin, bamboo and sugercane. Then you can trade with the villagers
Oh cool. I was wondering about that. 😊
Yo I was about to make an iron farm but then i saw your video and was amazed. I’m making it in my survival world and it produces a lot of iron. I also used the curing zombie villager thing in my villager trading hall. Great video and thanks, it helped out a lot in my survival. It was really helpful.
is it 20 villagers for the whole thing or is it 20 and then the 1?
@@malikaegehrke3142 20 for the whole thing
My villagers kept immediately turning into Fisherman when I placed the one looking at the beds and only two would let me change their jobs... Turns out they were linking to my underground barrels in my base that were about 10 block away in taxi cab distance. Took them out and now I have all but one changed from Fisherman, as he appears to be stuck to one of the furthest barrels I have, but I'm not mad. I need one Fisherman anyway to make it a complete hall! :)
Thank you for posting this, it was super easy to convert from the iron farm tut you made before without the villager hall.
Because this is the only farm design that properly works for me with no hassle (after I fixed the beds, also thanks to you), I would like to tell you that nitwits (I only have one) work for me. And yea, I’m in bedrock. Thank you for your videos 😭
This design seems a lot more thought out than the Iron Farms on Java that I've looked into. Good job! Thanks for the awesome video!
Hi, Silent. Has something changed with villager/workstation linking mechanics? Previously you have advised to keep the villager in water to keep them linked. Thanks for your awesome tutorials!
No there is no change in mechanism the reason he didn't use water in this farm is because this is an trading hall so trading with villagers locks their profession
Hi I have a Temp Trading hall built for my new 1.18 world I still use the water cause one of my villager keep unlinking to his workstaton but I don't know why it still keep unlinking, but I linked one villager to a workstation and a bed that seems to work he does't keep unlinking now. Maybe this will help you if you have problems.
@@D9N5S8 actually there was, previously you could put a villager in water to keep them from unlinking from their beds/workstations, but they removed that mechanic in a previous update.
Maybe also because the water would get in the way of the zombie conversion. If it's a big problem, you can always add the water after your villager is converted and cured a few times, putting glass behind them to contain the water while allowing the zombie to pass through.

The armorer, weapon smith and tool smith will all trade iron for emeralds. Plus they can sell you all the diamond gear that you need once they are leveled up all the way. Highly recommend!
Fantastic farm as usual! I made one change with it because I need a huge trading hall so I added more villagers. So the first thing I've found is to have more beds than villagers it helps a bunch. I needed to have a trading hall with 40 villagers in it and I'm happy to say that if you place the second 20 directly under the original with glass below the original and above the new ones they can gossip which will allow them to link to the beds. The rates are pretty similar but I've been 3 golems spawning at a time way more than I have double golems or singles. From what I've discovered as long as all the villagers can properly link to the beds and their workstations you should be able to fit as many as you like! Once again Thank you soooo much Silent! This design was the exact thing I needed!
I had this farm working for a while but suddenly stopped working. i tried to unlink and link back all workstations/beds with the villagers but nothing. Cat spawn but no golems.. I noticed that after breaking all the station the linking procedure is more tedious (cause like the half are already locked and even if i put the correct workstation in front of them they won't link)
Thank You So Much!!! An iron farm that actually works. I built everything while in Survival Mode so I took awhile, but I'm very happy to announce that it works like a charm... liked and subscribed... You're amazing!!! Thanks!!! I'll be studing more of your farms to build now... I play Bedrock Edition on PS4 just in case anyone was wondering...
PS... i noticed i also get a decent amount of leather and leashes from wandering trader spawns now as well... lol an extra added benefit...
Extra tip:Place water where the villager at and add a button below the block that is behind the villager to make sure the water don't flow out and ruin the rail. The zombie can still hit the villager and the villager will still link to the bed forever.

Make sure you replace any storage barrles with boxes if you are building this near your main base. A lot of my villagers had become fishermen aleady by pairing to my storage near by. Took me ages to realise what the issue was. Other than that it works perfectly for me.
it would've been better if you have written this 6 months ago I after basically ravaging my whole base and the village (I built my base in the village) realised the barrels were a workstation block :/
Bro, spot on! I ended up burning down my world it got so bad@@yuvrajsharma1551 . It just urks me to no end that barrels are significantly faster and for the love of god the sfx is practically a Hans Zimmer masterpiece compared to opening chests. Even chunk aligned border issue was resolved using barrels in 1.19 & 1.20. I truly wish mojang would make a recipe that requires a barrel for it to become a "workstation". Hands down the barrel is the superior storage entity that is slice friendly.
This works perfectly fine even in 1.19.21(servers as well). You can build this if you want. Thanks silent for this design👍👍
PSA: it still works in 1.20.60, as of when I posted this comment
Word of advice tho: Picture a 200 block exclusion zone around the trading hall, where not a single bed, profession block, bell, or villager can exist. If any of these enters the exclusion zone, the farm is liable to break
Also flatten any hills next to the farm, so golems don’t spawn outside the farm
I get it if it is a lot of work, but but I still want to throw the idea out there. It would be really nice to have a Playlist entirely of JUST your most updated farms. Some are buried pretty deep and you have to wade through lots of old models. I get it if that is too much to keep up, so please don't over work yourself, but if it is doable it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you're having problems with the Iron golems not spawning or spawning in the wrong spots this is what I did. I put beds around the kill chamber in addition to the ones up top, beds were positioned w/ the pillow towards the kill chamber. It seems like every villager in your trading hall needs their own bed so they don't unlink to their work station and so golems can spawn. I also put 5 cats by the kill chamber too so they wouldn't take up the spawn rate. I then filled up any open blocks in and around the trading hall w/in ~5 blocks w/ slabs or other blocks to deter the golems from spawning. Lastly I put a wall of blocks up to the ceiling (built this in a cave) around the leaf blocks to prevent the golems from walking off the platform. After I did all of that the golems have been spawning pretty regularly and I get about 2-3 at once most of the time. Once I put the zombie-minecart railway in, that took up any other open blocks and I haven't had a golem spawn outside the designated spot since. Hope this helps ya!
Edit: A couple more tips for zombie curing. Make sure the trap doors close onto the faces of the villagers and swing up, not to the side. Put job blocks to the lower right or left of the villager and a solid block up above it. Doing that prevents the zombie from being able to smack the villagers as it goes around (make sure trap doors are closed before you do it). Also, this allows you to pack more villagers into a tight spot b/c you can use the front and back as well and run the track directly in front of the villagers. For curing, make sure you put a solid block to the left or right of the powered rail in front of the villager you want to cure and make sure it's off. I did this to prevent the zombies from flying by. Good luck!
I designed my trade center for there to be 50 villagers, inside. No iron golems. Any idea what placing beds under the villagers in there work station prison?
@@reverendbaal I wouldn't do that since the Iron Golems spawn from the pillow on the bed. My best guess is you don't have any spawnable spots close enough to the villagers. If you follow the video you should be getting some soon enough. The other thing is that they only spawn when at least 10 villagers had worked in the previous day. If they are not properly linked to their work stations then no golems will spawn.
@@pimpddychkrchz Thanks for the tip. I had actually forgotten the villager that watches the bed up top. :) Once I put him up there, with an extra bed...the golems began spawning.
I've been breeding about 200 blocks away and sending one villager at a time, setting them in place and then adding the workstation.
I've also placed the villagers facing inside the building, along the outer wall and around the kill chamber. Eventually I plan to have 50.
I'd like to add another "floor" below them to have a total of 90 (last I read, 90 is Max out for spawning golems. Any higher is a waste. Is that still correct?
@@reverendbaal No clue. I'd check the bedrock wiki for that.
@@pimpddychkrchz Will do. Thanks again for your time.
Still working. Make sure everyone is linked right btw. Making 420 an hour for me. Plus lots of poppy and string.
Thank you! Love this tutorial. Still works in 1.19 for me, just recently made this but still need to make the zombie part
Just as little info:
- Works on 1.20
- With 56 Villagers and beds the rates double since you can spawn 4 iron golems at once (could be less villies and beds but that i don‘t know)
Do iron farms need to be above ground or are there any other mechanics that might effect spawning? I’ve built multi similar to this farm using the ‘spawning principles and they won’t spawn
I dont think iron golems can spawn on water
@@jamland1981 they can
@@adityaramadhan1708 they can spawn in water but not in water source
do they need to be above ground though? i was planning to build this underground but idk it it will make golems spawn on the surface
@@orenkallay3243 bro it can works but it depends upon the design
I was wondering could you expand this farm even more by placing say a semi circle of villager cells around the main farm or would that mess with the golem spawns?
you can put villagers whereever, make sure each villager has 1 bed up top 👍
@@silentwisperer Awesome and thanks for the quick response. Your the best silent
@@silentwisperer oh sweet that's good to know. It means I can just throw villagers into stalls and if I don't get what I want I can just add more stalls
@@deusvult6920 or you could just break and replace the job block if you don't get what you want, unless ur pre 1.16
@@silentwisperer do you know if the one villager who is higher up than the other ones counts as one of the 20 villagers?
Tyou always have the best vids not too long enough info and good designs thank you very much for these vids and farms
Finally finished making it (except the zombie track) got golems spawnin, saw them sat in the water wondering why they wasnt dying... i forgot to get lava😂 Regardless.... absolutely love this build and cant wait to get all my traders sorted... on the plus side i know i can always just kill them if i dont like trades.... breeder is a god send! Thank youuuuu silent, keep up the awesome stuff☺️
my golems keep spawning outside my farm for some reason. they only occasionally spawn where they're supposed to. do you know any fix for this? also i tested it in a creative world and it worked perfectly fine
Hey, silent! I have a question about the villagers, are they 20 counting the one on the top or only the ones of the trading hall? I'm asking because my iron farm didn't work until I put the 21st bed.
this is my question too
Including that top dude, total 20
19 on ground + 1 on top, need extra bed for every other villager
You may have had a villager that wasn't properly linked, or a bed that was considered unreachable or something else that wasn't in the right state.
Ive built it twice now and both times worked great. I decided i wanted more villager so i put them inside in the holes created from the overall build. Beds are linked. Work stations are linked. I have 67 beds up top i believe and only 58 villagers below.
Dose it still work ? , because i did everything right and it only spawns cat with zero golems ??
@@a2z787make sure you have enough beds. if you add villagers you have to add beds as well. if the golem farm suddenly stops working you need to add more beds at the center. make sure the pillow faces the killing chamber so the golem spawns in the correct radius of the farm.
Thx so much . It works so well 😁👍
I was building this and I wondered what add-on you use to see all the villagers trades
Hi silent! After the 1.20.10 update, I noticed a couple of golems spawning outside of the platform. I have the beds expanded for another row on 2 out of 4 sides and it seems that it now slightly offsets the village center by a few blocks which in turn shifted the golem spawn area toward the extra beds. The golem doesn't seem to spawn too far, only a couple of blocks from the leaves, or precisely in front for the villager's work stations below. Maybe worth to be looked into.
pretty sure you can fix this by putting slabs around
Same problem
Same issue. My iron farm worked just fine with 60 beds circling the center until this recent update.
I have the same problem, but I have the standard 20 beds.
The person who recommended slabs was right ❤. I put slabs on top of the leaves in the farm and no golems have spawned out of the farm. Just remember not to block the view of the villager that has to see the beds 😂. Thank you for the recommendation.
Man finally!!! After long time my iron farm is working. Thank you man you re the best
Youre Amazing! i was just wondering how much blocks i needed, so i check the description and its all listed there!
if anyone is having trouble with the golems spawning outside the farm and you used a villager breeder near it make sure you break the beds in that breeder bc turns out some of my villagers were linked to those beds and it messed the farm up
I also built the farm but iron golem are spawning outside the farm
@@vinie.-z.3565 I believe Golems spawn near the center of the village. I think the center is calculated randomly as one of the bed pillows. What I would suggest is one by one, break and replace the beds, making sure all the pillows are pointing toward the center, and when you place the bed, you should see green particles for every single one. If you don't see green particles, check around because someone is linking to a different bed than they should.
Love the new design but I do have a question.
With this new design, what is the spawn radius of the golems above and below? Can this be built underground?
Building a new base city within a mountain. Would this work there or would a "mountain top watch tower/market" be a better idea?
Thank you in advance :)
I've built this slightly underground and so far no golems have spawned. If they can, I'm not sure what to do to make it happen, but so far the answer seems to be no. Hopefully we get a clear answer
It cannot be built underground, iron golems only spawn above sea level
most simplest and effective farm so far keep it up king
Best one till date .... Working so good on 1.19.20 🔥🔥
So we don’t have to keep 10 villagers in the same spot when making this and the farm still works? Noice. Now I’ll get free poppies and string (maybe iron too i guess but whatever lol)
correct:)
Built this farm like a month ago and it has been working beautifully. Now that the update rolled 1.18.30 Iron Golems are spawning in places they didn't use to. Im just trying to spawn proof the area like 3 to 4 blocks from the villager because they started spawning on floor level now. Im not in iron deficiency so Im not in a hurry as of right now lol.
I end up extending the roof by 3 blocks. After the update villagers were stuck in a profession without been traded with. I killed all villager and breed new ones. After linking their stations again golems started spawning 🙂
After saving and quitting started having issues again with no golems spawning. I check villagers for their profession and had to remove the workstation 2x so it release the job. Since the update something seems to be broken.
Update: Farm working 100% most likely a miscalculation on my part when I tried to rebuild and relink the beds. Farm working perfectly with no issues
This is so helpful, thanks!
Just built this (12/16/23) with minor tweaks and it works beautifully.
I built it at Y 200 to avoid other beds and the like.
Minor tweaks: The villagers have their beds in the cell behind them so that they can sleep and refresh locked trades. The only bed above the farm is for the villager up top, though he doesn't really need to be there, I just left him. 😅
I added four villager run farms to the sides, with a minecart hopper rail underneath to collect farmed produce, that can be then sold back to their respective farmers.
Also added a fishing pond, so that I can tame the cats rather than kill them. Just removed the campfire and one glass block so they can run around the island.
I did have to extend the leaves out three blocks, making a roof, and also added moss carpet. So that the golem would spawn where intended rather than by the villagers.
Also added in an item sorter to separate the poppies and divert them into a composter.
Great design to start from though, appreciate the video!
How did you get the villagers up there?
@Kroogg A water elevator. I conveniently built this above a zombie dungeon. So I cured zombie villagers which nets you the low trade, then pushed the cured villagers into the water elevator to get them to the trading hall/iron farm above, then used a rail system to get them to their rooms.
@@rabicorn7610 Thanks
@silentwisperer my zombie is not hitting the villagers
It’s only hitting certain ones
Anything I can do ?
If you tame 5 of the cats then you don’t need the campfire, the iron farm will probably get better rates, and you won’t get string in your iron chests :)
or you get just get the string - free wool for when you go bed bombing for netherite. It's what I always do.
@@Gluglos yes, but the game will decide to either spawn a cat OR a golem, so if the cats are tamed, then there will be higher iron production cuz more golems will be spawning instead of cats
this is the first time I have ever gotten one working this is amazing and thank you so much I literally sat there for like a minute and get 22 iron
this looks simple as heck, I love it, ill get on building this today!
Did you build it? How’d it go?
@@lorimandle I built it. It works great, but I have to move the village breeder an extra 50 blocks because the goloms are not spawning.
My problem with any builds like this is… the villagers cannot reach the beds to sleep!!
@@happytanking9985 they have to be near the beds, they don't have to sleep in them.
to avoid mistakes that i just had here are some tips: if your world is on easy your zombie will just kill your villager, on normal its 50% that it either dies or turms into a zombie villager, on hard its 100% for zombie villager. also on easy the zombie is brain dead sometimes. hope this helps!
Thank you!!!
As of today (November 28, 2023) this beast of a farm still works on Bedrock. 😊
1st week into playing MC ever, this helps alot! Also shoutout to Piel, PielsTheBest!
guys i had to put peaceful to save my loot into the nether, but when i put back normal mode my farm broken. It doesnt spawn a single golem. I tried to replace beds but nothing. Can someone help me?
If anyone is curious, this still works in 1.19.50, and yes, you can build it underground in a 25x25 box.
I turned the trading hall portion inside-out from this, so all of the villagers and work stations are facing in, not out. Still works amazing. Thank you for all of the hard work Silent!
I did the same thing with the villagers inside not out but mine is not working? I've scratched my head trying to figure out why, I followed the video exactly except my villagers are inside not out.
@@97GreenBean I'd say make sure you have an equal number of beds to villagers and make sure they all have access to their correct workstations. I just did an episode on my build of this on my channel, and I'm AFKing at it right now, it works amazingly. But if the villagers don't have access to the correct workstations it won't work, I'd pick up all of your workstations and replace them one by one.
@@97GreenBean And make sure you have the villager up top that can see the beds.
WOW this is compact. I've been using my villager hall for an iron farm for a while but this looks really simple.
Excellent design and clear tutorial as always by silent... Any tip on keeping water from freezing in cold biomes?
Never mind, it looks like submerged lanterns are doing the trick...
you could use light, or just put some buttons in the water sources:)
Thx so much for the farm, its working so well!!!!
Some tips for beginners: get your base far from a village and break all possible workstations and beds, build the farm structure and get 2 villagers on the water platform and breed them there, then get them out one by one with a minecart whilst linking them to their workstations. Once that's done, then put the lava and water to push and kill the golems. Ps: it works on 1.19
Thank you
I've had this farm working perfectly until 1.9, now golems aren't spawning at all, should I dismantle all work stations and beds to the start it?
@@almonkey1 probably yes
