This is the Solomon's Knot Crochet Pattern. Also known as Love Knot or King Solomon's Knot. Joanne's Mom used it as a finishing decoration for many of her projects.
    Crochet Solomon’s Knot
Use the Crochet hook that the yarn calls for.
I used #4 Worsted Yarn and Size G Hook
    Repeat from * to *
    Make Odd number of Knots
I made 7, without counting the first.
Make 2 more and on the 3rd from the one on the hook, insert and make a single crochet.
*Make 2 more, skip 1 and single crochet on the next. Do this until you get to the end.
Make 3 knots, turn and single crochet on the first knot. (This will be the one you haven’t single crochet
    on the previous row).

    -Worsted Yarn: go.magik.ly/r/joannesweb/122d7/

TYVM! When I was small my mother had a doily that she put on the back of the chair. She said my great-grandmother had made it. Well, as young children do, I ruined it. I can see it in my minds eye, but didn't know how to create it. Your work showed me how to recreate the doily - which I am now making for my mother for Christmas. Again, Thank You!

I started watching a couple other tutorials for Solomon's Knot, but came back to watch yours all the way through because I really like how you do the beginning slip knot differently than the others. Your tutorial is the best!

Thank you so much for the clear instructions! The contrast between the color of the back ground and the color of the yarn made it a lot easier to see exactly what you were doing! I can’t wait to make a pattern using this stitch!

I learned how to do this stitch a long time ago. Then I put the item that I was working on away before completing the project. I was looking for something else and came across this project, I liked what I saw and decided to work on it again after many years of neglect. Lo and behold I had forgotten how I did what I did. Thank you for sharing your expertise in such an informative way. I was able to follow along and I had better finish my project while your teaching is strong in my mind. I know that I liked the stitch but impatience drew me elsewhere. Not only did I stop, I also learned just now what to do when I reached the edge. My work is pinched at each end because I did not pay attention to what came next. Now that I have the completed lesson the fun can begin. Thank you dear lady.

I am a new crocheter and you are one of my top mentors. I just created my first Solomon's knot with your help! At first, I thought this project was going to be a bit too ambitious of me attempt for being pretty new at this but I completed it! You went at the perfect pace and were very clear on how to create the knots with the stitches, and then you went back over it to make sure we understood and were doing it correctly. Some tutorials I have noticed go So fast and don't really show "how", but simply how fast "they" can stitch but that is only frustrating for me. You are an excellent teacher. So thank you!
