I’d love to see an eyeshadow tutorial featuring the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - Unlocked palettes. It would be amazing to see how you create looks with those beautiful shades.
I watched so many reviews and i think you were the first person with fair/light skin that didn't act scared of the shades in the lotus palette😅👍👏. You made all the palettes work so beautifully on you. I got the lotus and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I can't wait.
Im actually loving the bronzers in 2024! All 3 palettes have new bronzers, and Hourglass was clearly listening to customers for this release. All past palettes have very warm toned bronzers, and this year they finally switched to neutral leaning bronzers instead. I can't wait to get my order. These all look great on you, and as always I look forward to your reviews. Cheers!

I dont even know why they would think two finishing powders is a good idea 😂😂, I’d rather get two bronzers with a warm and cool undertone tbh.
That’s a great point! You’re more likely to go through the bronzers faster too and have finishing powder left over. I didn’t really think about it until I swatches the palette and saw how similar the shades are lol xx

I am pale and I think that Lotus is the most beautiful one. Dragon has 2 finishing powders that I barely ever use from my 3 pan Hourglass palette so it was an easy pass. Evil Eye would work the best for my skin tone, but such bright pinky blushes don't suit me and they are too similar to justify the price. Instead, after seeing the red blush in Lotus, I bought a single blush in the shade At night (got it with 20% discount) and I am very happy with it and I saved quite a lot of money. I will wait for the next year, maybe there will be a better palette for me :)
Erin these looks are so pretty. The medium is my favorite ❤. Hourglass does something Amazing with their powder, for sure.😊😊😊I got the Evil eye story in the Dragon package.
I finally pulled the trigger on the dragon palette after passing on these for years. Thought I would buy one before the price goes over $100!
Every year I want this palette at least one!! And this year I was determined to buy it but I caved and finally purchased the Guerlain meteorites because I loved the pucci collab 🥲 so now gotta hope and wait for next year unless this stays in stock until Christmas 🙏🏻🤗

I love the hourglass bronzers
After seeing the first review a few days ago, I ordered Lotus. I felt I could use it for all over the face and eyes. I have the same skin tone as you and was starting to worry, but now I am still so happy it's coming. In the defense of HG, I think the colors are meant to look airy and ethereal, so the deeper shades would provide that on darker skin tones while appearing vibrant on lighter one? Anyway, it's my hope. It seems the company is taking critique and making changes at the very least. You look GORGEOUS!

I mostly buy the palettes to explore more shades, also cause the bronzers are interesting, last year and 2022 medium tone palettes were too warm and orange/yellow. I am not fair skin toned and i loved last year’s jelly fish palette more than the medium and i also liked the snake blushes more than the medium… 😅

A school run mum (also a mua) uses hourglass on herself and professionally and you really can tell the difference, not just flawless but those peach shades can't be replicated 🩷🧡

The light palette is super pretty on you and the best for your skin tone! Amazing! The darkest also is pretty! The middle one is meh to me, apart from the beautiful blush. I wish we could custom the colours we want. Then I would buy it!

Oh my! I hoped these wouldn´t be so good so I could skip these.. but those are stunning and when you used those darker shades as a eyeshadow, well now I can´t deside wich one I would get 🙃😍
Hi Erin, I love Hourglass products. I’m waiting on the reissue of Hylaronic Skin Tint, so pretty! I use Diffused Light to set my concealer every day, brightens and diffuses-the best. In a future video would you explain the difference between setting and finishing powders?💗
Diffused light is the one that I actually already have, but don’t really know how to use it! It was an impulsive buy. Watched one RUclipsr use it really well ONE time & then had to have it.. and now I don’t know what to do w it. So any tips you have for that specific one, I’d really appreciate!! Thank you!

Hi dear Erin, looking beautiful, and thanks for all the work you put in the video!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩No, i do not like the packaging, especially for palettes 1 and 2, i already shared here and there on RUclips, i purchased the powders of palettes 1 and 2 with the cover of palette 3 last week. So, being a Christian, the Hourglass marketing team can add the packaging conversation to the other conversations. About the other conversations: they made beautiful colour combinations and i think more inclusive, but our friends with deep/rich skintones actually need to confirm that. I purchased this year, cause i love their powders and really use them, but they loose me if they go on with these type of theme/packagings. Wishing you a wonderful day, Erin!!!😘😘😘😘

I am wondering if you had a “hard pan” type of experience with the peach shade in Dragon. I’ve had to use a pretty stiff natural fiber brush to get any pay off and I’m pretty fair. Considering returning as defective but I’m not sure if it’s just the formula.

I picked up the Dragon I also liked that palette the best on you. Palette 2 I only like the finishing powder & blushes, but I like everything about the Dragon. Three is way too dark.

What brush are you using?
I mean… if every year they release 3 pallets how many new shades they can create?..
They didn’t always release 3, it used to be one 6 pan, one 4 pan. There is still a lot of room for growth with the deeper/intense shade range but I definitely see your point!
I like the dragon package, but I think I like the medium pallet best.

I got the medium palette and accidentally put the highlighter as blush and it showed texture I didn’t know I had 🤦🏻♀️ whoops.

The matching brush is adorable. I wouldn’t say they are better than rephr solo brushes but if you like it hourglass or it two ended brushes, you might like. Only thing to should know is the grip feels cheap. Very light metal. Not quite aluminum but you get the point
